1. point your domain to xisto NS.. it should be:

NS1 : ns.computinghost.com

NS2 : ns2.computinghost.com

 

2. set an add-on in your account

from cpanel -> add-on domain and just create it

 

I've already got two websites from Xisto already and I'm very grateful for that. I created two hosting accounts for those two sites as one of them will be run along with my friend. Now I want to register another domain, but this one will be a personal website and I want to host it as an add-on domain on my first hosting package. Now my great doubt is, how do I configure this? I know the theory - I have to point the domain to Xisto's (Xisto - Web Hosting) nameservers. But I do not know what the addresses of those nameservers are and how I go about doing this configuration.

 

So could someone please guide me as to how I can successfully add my personal domain to my existing hosting accout please? Thanks in advance

i dont think we can have anonymous login here. have you checked ftp management in your cpanel? there is no "anonymous" ftp account there. try to create it, although i'm not sure whether we're allowed or not.

about keyring password, you have to enter password you've provided during the installation, probably your root password. you can also try this mays :

i have installed ubuntu 9 today and found out that the ubuntu 9 has detected the usb modem but

it is asking out for some keyring password of the default keyring

i have not been able to find this password i tried out all the passwords that i use for all my accounts on ubuntu 9

and there are some files missing like the wvdial.conf i think i need this file to conect to the internet

and also there is a missing usbserial module

if any one finds these and can tell me how to install then it would be helpful

i heard about this once. so, basically we get myCENT from our post right? but, if the main topic is deleted (because it was just a spam, etc), then we lost your point. but at the mean time, our myCENT already deducted by xisto. that's why it becomes negative...

i'm sure you've checked these sites, but would you mind try again these methods and post what kind of error when you try it.

you should try it. I used it to delete files generated by my script which can't be deleted using ftp client. Post here if you have any problem

i think puppy is much lighter than linux mint,.. i'm using ubuntu with lxde now. it's a bit lighter than gnome, but the features are less than ubuntu or xubuntu.

hm, never used usb connection before. i suppose you've tried ndiswrapper. what's your usb modem? are you sure there is no driver, patch, or method mentioned in the internet?

i am from india and i use reliance usb internet broadband + and i m not able to connect to internet out with it i have tried out some methods mentioned all over the internet and failed in retrieving the internet
i need some software for the linux platform that gives me usb modem connectivity
if any one can suggest its good and if it works its better
presently i m using amd athlon processor and gigabyte mother board with 512mb ram

I have very briefly tried Cinelerra and Kino, although nowhere near enough to offer any advice on them They're all free so give them a go and see which you like and which ones have the features and effects you need.

I know this seems to be old question, but could anyone tell me where I could get a movie editor / movie maker which is free and has good performance. I didn't realize that windows doesn't include WMovie Maker again in their OS and had to find a movie editor to edit my clips from my camera.I've googled for hours, but still haven't got any good software. Now I'm using picasa to join my clips, it has utility to join clips and insert some text, but it's very slow. And it can only create wmv file only.I've tried free video converter or what it's called, but the quality is awful.Any suggestion? If it's possible, could anyone point me to movie editor for linux (ubuntu) too?

if it's a cargo ship, then I'm sure it has some digital equipment that sends their coordinate, or at least there will be a radar which monitor their position 24X7... you can't make a cargo ship disappear easily.. imagine its size.

you could just read the files as string using file_get_contents command in php, and then give an output using a echo. you could read the tutorial here :

you could insert for command to loop, esp if your files have similarity in name like file1.html, file2.html. ...

 

Could you try this first and tell me whether it works or not. I did try this script once and it worked but i'm not really sure whether this will work or you or not

his problem guite probably caused by file ownership problems. probablu he created files using script or downloader plugin and file owner is different with his account. he can only delete those files using script. that's why i suggested him to use filemanager plugin (i do have this kind of problem on my wp hosted here)

If you've used the FTP access to install the plugins, you should be able to log in via an FTP client, such as CuteFTP, CoreFTP or FileZilla! and delete the file, just as you would in Windows Explorer. Either that, or you could use akashi's suggestion and install the filemanager plugin.

Maybe you just need sometimes until your mycent info's being updated. If you still can't see your mycent 'till tomorrow, then you could submit a ticket to xisto helpdesk.

wutske is right. using chkdsk or other disk checking tools is much wiser. Try to google it using the error msg, maybe you'll get a clue.

Why does nobody even think about first using checkdisk before thinking about breaking open a brand new external disk ?

If this also means that I'll get free full version of M$ winblows 7 then I'll study hard wutske (sorry for being OOT yordan)

how about using frame, or if you prefer php then you could use file_get_contents and then write an output using echo. if the files has similar names like file1.html..file50.html, then it would be easier.

Install filemanager plugin for wordpress and delete it using that filemanager. It worked for me.

are you sure we can install our own phpmyadmin here? with that $1.95 plan?,...
