ive had this game since it came out in november, a truly awe-inspiring game tbh, the fact you can command a virtual army equivalent to some of the armys that fought some of the most famous battles is truly great. i love Castle sieges, it is probably the best type of battle you can do. It takes good tactics to overcome the assault and it is really fun i would recommend this game to anyone.

i havent ever downloaded illegally although there have been urges, instead i just dont buy as many games, and i agree definitely that the reason that so much piracy is happening is due to the ridiculous price of the games. Here in england games are like ?30-?35 which i believe is around $55 to $68 dollars for a game, which not everyone can afford to shell out every other week. Anyways introducing laws against piracy is not going to affect anybodys decision to download illegally

lol@corey, anyways there was a massive preview of it in PCZone (Uk) looking awesome i gtta say although i was wholey dissappointed with Doom 3 as they concentrated so much on graphics and lighting they forgot about the storyline , o well hopefully quake 4 will be alot better. Im also anticipating Unreal 3 which loooks soo coooool :D:D

i think hosted servers are the best for price, i use http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ and they charge me ?25 a month for a 14 man cs 1.6 server with free teamspeak 2 server, gr8 stuff

I personally didn't like Condition Zero or Source.  Sure there is a graphics improvement but the gameplay just doesn't have the same feel as the original counterstrike.  I think both of these games have a long way to go before they can be even close to as good as counter strike.

i totally i agree with you man, i feel the same way about it, jus doesnt have the same flow in the gameplay and css seems to eb alot easier than the original

 

The only one thing that I don't agree in CS:Zero is that the rule which state the player who difused or planted the C4 suceed in their mission, they got an extra 3 extra frags....That really sucks...

That happens in all cs games, the original gave the defuser the extra three points, think about it this way, if everyone on your team dies and you are left to kill 3 Terrorists and you do and then you defuse the bomb, is it fair on you that everyone on the team gets the three points (without the kills cos you killed them). I dont think so.

well im a chelsea supporter , supported them since i was 4 so a good 11 years now, and tbh i honestly think well at least win the double, the carling cup and the premiership and im sure im not the only one on the forum who believes this ( come on all u chelsea supporters ) Lol , anyways liverpool suppporters gl ur gnna need it B)

well depends, if u play alot of games and wnna future proof ur pc i'd shell out a few more euros and get a x800 pro, but if u only use it for desktop programs then what u have chosen is fine, on the other hand if u dont mind upgrading in a year and a half then keep that card and get a better one later on when u have the moneys

Yh the hosting credits system is a very innovative idea, will keep track of inactive members. I admit i myself was one, but that was because i just had a long period of exams and wasnt allowed to use internet, but now thats over so i now can stay active .Great Idea by the trap :D

basically i have a 2mb broadband connection and on my new server last week i was downloading the security module (cs 1.6) in about 3 secs but for some reason it has increased to 6 and my ping has gone up from low 20's to high 20's to mid 30's, any reason y? im really baffled at how such a change can come about, ive defragged, did spyware and anti virus and deleted all spyware. ive tried everything yet i dont know wat is going on ....

the motherboard is feature rich and has alot to offer, i consider it to be one of the best amd based mobos out there, although i think if u can increase your budget then you should go for a processor with a bit more ooomph, you can probably pick up a amd fx 51 for a cheap price on ebay, or if you really want a new processor then the amd 64+ 3500 or 3700 would be better as they are alot faster and i think they have improved on chip cache. Overall if you cant afford more then i think your purchase is quite good although i still think the processor is a little weak (depends wat u are using it for ).

If i remember correctly i am using Bit Tornado which i find is probably one of the best torrent clients out there well at least i think it is lol (dont hold me to that ),...I have a 2mb adsl connection with around 250-300 KB/s download B) and 2mb Upload and my dad pays around ?35 a month which i think is $63 a month but im not sure. Anyways now that suprnova is gone i dont really use bit torrent that much as i cant find a good torrent host, anyone found any good ones? plz share :PI love my internet connection :D
