Acer 3680 Laptop Does Not Open After Lid Is Opened

nicholas.rumin@sympatico.c posted a topic in Hardware Workshop

This problem is intermittent. If I quit working by simply closing the lid, when I re-open it, the light on the power switch is still on but screen is blank and does not respond to mouse or power switch. I am forced to shut down by holding down the power switch.
