  1. Regardless of whether Bush is a monster or not, his original goals were unsuccessful, which many people seem to ignore. If they could've been successful by giving no warning before going into Iraq and therefore giving them no time to hide the weapons of mass destruction, Bush should've done that or whatever is needed to ensure that these weapons stay out of bad hands. If they really are gone, this is even worse than the original situation in that now we don't know where they are, whereas previously we had satellite images knowing exactly where they are as you claim. So, even if we do get oil, it is an expendable resource and prices are always going to go up. People need to realize that it won't be around forever and we will have to start switching to alternative modes of fuel.

  2. While the pop-ups and ads are annoying, talking ads really bother me, especially if I'm surfing the internet and it's very quiet in my house and the talking surprises me.My friend once found this hilarious site that, upon visiting, it would have many pop-ups with images of random body parts (nothing inappropriate, just arms and skin colored-things) with big banners and text saying "THIS PERSON IS LOOKING AT GAY PORN!!!"

  4. Well sometimes it does not matter how good you are at an instrument. As long as you like to play it. I started out playing the trumpet in 5th grade, and I never was very good at the trumpet. Last year i started playing the euphonium (basically a baby tuba with a trombone mouthpiece and trumpet fingerings) and it was like a whole new world because it was much easier for me to play. Even though I am not very good at the trumpet, I still pull it out every now and then to jam.

I would definitely agree. I played viola until 6th grade and I wasn't very good, but then I moved onto guitar a year or two later and now I think I'm quite good. I also am learning to play piano, the ukulele, and the harmonica.

    And I can sing.

    Sometimes.

  5. I hate how, whenever this argument is brought up, PC users talk about how much they dislike macs and then go on to say they've never used it, or perhaps only a few times, and were somewhat disoriented because they weren't familiar with it. I think Mac OS X, especially because of Darwin (I think this is the right name), is much more stable. Often, when I am at a friend's house and any program starts to slow, that means you have to close that and all programs and restart your computer. With the MacMini, which I've had for 3 months now, I've had to restart it maybe 2 or 3 times because it has crashed. The only problem with Macs is that they are too expensive and Apple won't allow 3rd party Macs anymore. The lack of software used to be bad, but since Mac OS X came along, I'd say that it is becoming much closer to equal.

Lastly, I disagree that Macs are only for "n00bz", especially because of Terminal and that whole thing.

  6. I'd believe it, though all the major corporations and media seem to be ignoring the newest craze, BitTorrent, a system of decentralized trackers to download huge files, often full, illegal albums or movies. Maybe this doesn't count as a p2p service or maybe it's being ignored? It might not even be big enough, but it is very accessible.

  7. But this new is more public oriented... more singles, more unoffensive... it´s a great album from the technical perpective but i find it their weaker one in compositions. And its a great work anyway. Strange posture mine.  :D

This I disagree with, specifically because of their newest single. It is a direct attack on President Bush. In fact, they were going to purposely be offensive by having a picture of him in the background while playing The Hand That Feeds during the MTV movie awards, but MTV wouldn't allow it so now the Foo Fighters are playing instead.
