  1. Hey their,
I learnt how to do Skudou today,

I thought it was like a really hard maths game where you have to times and load of numbers to fill in the squares.

As I have now learnt it Its soooooooooooooooooo easy!

    - Ash :P

oh man. I know when I first learned how to play sudoku. It was frustrating at first but then, eh. But I also wanna say that there are different levels of difficulty in that. The Hardest one is really tough to play. But I have done passed it so far. My cousin is really good at it. Or should I say a GOD at it? Yeah well, have a nice time playing sudoku!

  2. Let me thank you for starting such wonderful topics.

I was a bit ignorant about God all the time. I used to see my parents praying, and as usual, I learnt to do it too. It was simply copying.. Posted Image However, my dad had always been a darn strict person. Never, allowed me much to sit in front of computers, play etc. All he used to say was.. 'study.. study..study.. ". It was like a kid was born to study. Anyway, whenever I looked at him, I used to get a feeling that he does not like me, but he does love me.

Things were very tough for me. I started earning (not professionally) by the age of 14. My dad always coaxed me about all the things he has done for me. He used to point out each and everything he ever purchased for me, as if it was one huge favor. Things like these hurt me a lot. When you have kids, its your part of the responsiblity to fulfil his needs to the best you can. If you give someone a gift, and keep on reminding that person about it and say things about the money you invested for purchasing that gift, that person will never consider it a gift.

However, by the age of 18, I realised, All things happen for Good. I had got admission in engineering (computer branch) and was sitting down thinking about everything that I have gone through in my life. I realised, if It wasn't for my dad, I would had never had that fighting spirit in my life to be independent. It was for him, I struggled and started working. By age of 16, I used to work in Computer stores and had the job of fixing computers. Because of that job, I learnt how evil the world was, how mean people are and how it works. I learnt how to sit, talk and behave in front of people. And the main thing that works here is, Showoff. No matter what you are and what you have, people only see how you present yourself. A person with good attitude and confidence with least knowledge can kiss heights of success. It was this time, I started having faith in God. Now, when I pray, I pray by heart. Not, just to say something for the heck of it.

Things happen for Good because God is with you all the time. I was once going out with my friend on his bike, this guy was riding like a maniac. Just 4-5 miles away from our house, I lost the bag (with $152) on our way and we had to return back. I was blamed for the bag and I had to pay that. Anyway, it was then I had this feeling that, may be this did happen for Good. Who knows, if nothing would had happened, and we could had met with a accident later.. No one knows what is going to happen next. This world is too complicated for us to understand. From thousands of years, in every religion and race, all mentioned about many things, but still a majority of it remains common in all. This definately cannot be coincidence.

I have always learnt from my past. I see things that happened to me, and try my best to learn from my mistakes. Believe me, you will also realise, whatever happens, always happens for the sake of Good. With every failure, there are 10 new gates of opportunity that open for you. Its now upto you, that you chose them or not. Also, I would like to add, Please do the things that interest you. If you like designing but you get a programmers job, even though you will be paid 10 times higher, you will never have the job satisfaction. Job satisfaction is the primary thing that one should keep in mind. If you like your job, you will do well, your results will be good, and you will shine among your competitors. And no doubt, you will have success following you. It doesnt matter how much you are paid.

These are just my opinions, which I learnt from my life. and Thanks again for starting this topic. Posted Image

Sorry if this has been an old topic, but I have to comment on opaques response. All I have to say is you made me think of my life. I have done many things which I am not proud of. But I am and I will try to improve my self from those wrong doings. Your post made me think a lot! and I guess you are right. Everything that happens is for good, I have to go long way now, as I am 16 now. But thanks for posting such a magnificent post. It truly made me think!

  3. Guys guys. just wanted to let you know that, we are talking about words getting "extinct" not like erasing it from our dictionary. So far the discussion is heading to very good debate. I like that. Now that we are talking about making of words, lets just say that, it will get recognition if it sounds cool, it is the same deal with the word noob, it is not a real word, it just sounds cool when talking about it. The real word is nub. So guys have fun debating.

  4. Read the original article at: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
Will there be a Call of Duty 6 really? Is it a part 2 of Modern Warfare? It has to be avavible for the pc, not only for the consoles, like CoD 4 was. We can definitely expect a whole lot from it's campaign! There's a logo in the article above, but it's probably fake.

Yes they announced it, that there is going to be a Modern Warfare 2. I am preety sure. Here is a link
    https://www.engadget.com/

I dunno if this helps but they confirmed it pretty officially, so I guess it is official.

  5. I don't think you can straight forwardly say that... this website has the best design... because I think that each website is unique on it's own design. It all depends on what kind of webdesigner you are. If you are an advanced web designer your website will look professional, if not then I think that it will not. But you know it all comes to what kind of experience you have. you know what I mean... And I didn't know that you can find site on Google like that... That is awesome! Sorry If this is like a nub comment.

  6. Well one thing you probably need to do before this topic goes much further is define what it means for a word to become extinct. The way I see it there are two possible meanings.

    a) a word falls out of all knowledge and becomes impossible to ever use again (except by chance when someone makes a new word).

:P a word is dropped from a language because no one uses it and so the word is not considered to be correct in that language.

While a) is what I was thinking of when discussing extinct words, it is also impossible to prove the existance of even though it is highly likely they exist. By finding one of these extinct words they instantly become not extinct and so there in lies the problem.

Words fitting the definition of B) definitely exist as languages naturally evolve over time, and so words fall out of use and eventually become not part of the language. Simple examples are the word "colour" in American English, it is extinct and was replaced by "color". While it could be argued they are the same word there are likely more extreme examples.

It is funny that you should reference Latin as it is a dead language. This basically means that no one speaks it naturally anymore. But words in this language will unlikely ever become extinct. This is why scientists use it for naming plants and animals because the language isn't changing or evolving anymore. So the names they give will never change in their meaning.

I wasn't saying that the Latin language is dead. I was saying that some words that have evolved over the course of time have changed them and gotten them to become extinct. And I dont understand your last sentence. Do you mean that the words cannot have 2 meaning?

  7. You guys have a great build up to your justified argument, KUDOS to you guys, but I have to differ on the Homonym's meaning. Homonym mean that the word has a same pronunciation and spelling, but mean different things. Now here are my thoughts on it.As I said that I would think about this matter, and tell you guys what I think about it. OK, I think that Rarely Used Words/Names WILL go extinct, as they are never used before. But I also believe that there are many words that can be made by single word, although it doesn't fit in to my argument. It is outside of what we are talking. Back to going extinct. Now don't forget that words have been evolved by their ROOTS from Latin language. So their are chances that some words were made, but they have been forgotten now. It is a possibility. Post your opinions on this. And don't get biased by my opinions.

  8. My analogy on this topic is, "Do Rarely Used words get Extinct?" If you think about it, then the answer is completely unknown, because there isn't a man on earth that knows EVERY SINGLE WORD on the earth, and this doesn't limit to English language, but also multi-language stage. Now if you look at the most common name used in America is John. How many members on these boards have a name that has that name. Probably 30% MAYBE? NO? Well it could be. Let's say we ban the name john. No offense to those people who have that name, but let's just take that scenario. Do you think that it will get extinct? YES? I think No. Here's why. If we take a poll right now, about the most popular name and include all peoples name in the poll, and also JOHN. Do you think that they will choose THERE name or the NAME JOHN. Which one do you think they will choose? I will certainly choose my name. Why you ask because I am familiar with my name, and I have used it since the day I was born. I have posted this topic to make you guys think about this. I have thought about this and couldn't get an answer to it. I don't want to start a debate here but want to hear your most enthusiastic opinions. I will be updating this list with my thought logs....
