  1. Good tutorial. Very well written and informative. Another minimalistic way to do rollovers is using CSS and the a:hover attribute. For example,li a {background:url(1.gif);}li a:hover {background:url(2.gif);}Of course, with javascript you can do much more creative rollovers with more dynamic effects, like in your tutorial having the changing image separate from the button.
  2. I like rock, new and old, but mostly new. Anything on 99.3 the fox (Vancouver). I don't wan't to start a rap/rock flame war here, but I hate rap. Its just talking quickly to a beat.
  3. Lets just hope that its backwards compatable. I've heard rumors that you have to re-buy different versions of the old games in order for them to work. That better not be true, because then they midaswell not make it backward compatable. And Halo 3 had better be a massive improvement on Halo 2, or else it will be all for naught.
  4. Would it really be worth it for the companies? If I was CEO of Coka Cola, or McDonalds, I would rather spend the money it would take to put one billboard in space on one thousand billboards on the road. We've already made a mess of our planet, and now its going to reach out to space too. I'm glad that its the US government that is the first to oppose advertising in space, because they have a lot of influence in the grand scheme of things.
  5. The problem is that a lot of older websites just don't work in Firefox. Also, some stubborn webmasters wont even let you into a site if you are using Firefox (Windows update for example). You can easily block pop-ups with the Google toolbar, and until a lot more sites support Firefox, I'm sticking with my Internet Explorer.
