I have a dice game made in javascript called "Greedy" see this post:Javscript Game
And I would love to change it into a online multiplayer format but I have no idea where to start. Can anybody give me some tips? I've been finding out a lot of things as I program with the help of tutorials and informative websites, so if all you can to do is point me in the right direction of where to look or what to do that would be great!
You can play up to 6 players right now but just on one computer. I want to be able to play with the rest of my family who are all on a different continent than I am! -
I'm entirely new to the world of web design and programming, but as I read through a book on javascript I couldn't help but play around with some of the sample scripts. Pretty soon my playing around became a full blown game based on a dice game called "Greedy" or "Farkle" in some circles. Well, it still may be a little rough around the edges, but it has offered me and my friends plenty of laughs and diversion so I thought I'd offer it up to the web community. The game can be played at:

Currently it does not work on IE at all, so if you don't have any other browser, sorry! I wish I knew why, I think it has something to do with where I introduced some global variables but all I know for sure is that I'm fed up with IE! (I've only tested it on versions 7 and 8).
If there are any Mac users out there please let me know if it runs in safari for you. I'm having a glitch with safari on windows XP which is that the image map on the settings screen doesn't work and you can't click on the "play" button or change the score. (If you still want to use safari don't worry, you can play, just press the letter "p" to play.
Hopefully you're not bored after reading all that, if you are, just go play the game! Please let me know if you find other bugs or fixes to one of these bugs I've mentioned. Any good suggestions or programming advice will be warmly accepted. Thanks and enjoy!
p.s. The sound has been indefinitely disabled because it didn't contribute anything to the game and slowed down it's responsiveness -
I can't see why javascript is included in the same category as Java. To make matters worse, it is written "Java Script." Is someone trying to mess with us here? Javascript's origins are not found at all in Java and its uses and applications are entirely different. Above all else, a compiled language and an interpeted language do not belong in the same category! Shame on the person who set up this forum the way it is...
