To people that have already responded: try to at least help this guy with his problems and not talk about what software he should be using for his site, it's his will if he wants to delete your favorite program.
 
Anyway, the problem was that you hadn't first deleted the index.php file of wordpress. You have to delete all files that are related to WordPress (and the database) to get rid of WP. You also have to activate the option to see hidden files and then delete a file called ".htaccess". I see that you have deleted the index.php now, which is good. Don't delete the "cgi-bin" folder
 
The reason it's giving that error is because there isn't an index.html/php file for it to load to the browser. 404 means that Apache (the server software) couldn't find the file. So after you've cleared up the directory, upload your folders and files of choice to the public_html directory to be able to access them when visiting the domain.

Unfortunately Email support for CSS is limited, Gmail is one of the worst offenders of poor support for CSS. If you would like to use CSS code in your site you need to use inline styles, I found this website: https://www.campaignmonitor.com/css/ which lists the supported features.

Incase you are unsure that would work like the following:

as I said that's how you would have to do it, and check out the link for the supported features, remember to have an external version of the newsletter that runs in the browser that people can click on if the email is not displaying correctly. This will allow any styling of course.

Well, what do you exactly mean by smart or smarter? The ability to process information, calculate stuff fast? Computers already beat us in that. But by smart you mean being able to imitate human behavior when making decisions and imitating the reasons, which we don't know of yet. They would've to imitate our mood, the balance of hormones, the emotional side of us completely, to be like us. So, if computers are based on logic, and the programmers programmed the rules for them to follow, what is the problem with letting the brotha do the some decisions? Because they can't imitate our feelings, and our feelings aren't the ones that lead to logical decisions. But really, opaque, what did you mean by "smarter" in the title? Intelligence is hard to define, but smartness, although a synonym and comes close to the meaning, I think has a narrower meaning.
