on pc I use ws_ftp. It works better than cute ftp or any of the others I have tried previously.On my macs though (the only REAL work systems around) I use Fetch, or the built in interface in Dreamweaver MX. They both work well, and it just depends what you are wanting to use the ftp for, i.e. webpages, or larger file transfers.

It does make more sense to do as much as possible not to look like an template using, drag and dropped my site together in go live 5 type of user. Complete customization is the essence of any type of creative thinker.

I would definately say google is the best overall. It is weird how much of the "mainstream" google is becoming now. I think I am going to cry. Atleast you can use it for some great hacks though. Yip Yip!
