This is what I can tell you with my expirience with Antivirus Software: ? Norton do really suck. It's ok to have if you have a quad-core with 4GB memory, coz it is a resource hog. In the other hand it's anoyingly invasive. But the good thing about that is, the anti-phishing filter integrated to the browser is a really a useful feature, that will help you a lot. But overall, the protection Norton offers cannot be said as the best. AVG, was one of my favourites until I found out it didnt' protect me a lot from viruses. I switched to Avast from that after I got couple of viruses with AVG. And Avast has been my antivirus since then Greetings.

I think that this is a typical question, and the answear will depend of the kind of user that you are. I agree that Kaspersky is maybe the best Antivirus on finding virus and protecting your PC, but the cost is to high, it uses to much resources. By the other side, you've got NOD32, which is the one I personaly use, and I can asure you that is not THAT good as kaspersky in finding viruses, but will be the best choice if you are an experienced user, and you're not a person that opens files with out discriminating which file can be dangerous for you. It's true that here we are talking about top noch Antivirus software, but as they are two diferent programms, there are diference between them. So after all I've said, is your choice now what to decide, if you want to waste more resources for a safe computer, or we well protected, with a concious mind? I hope this was useful, Greetings.

The best anti-virus is ESET NOD32 then Kaspersky. NOD32 is the only anti-virus that got an Advanced+ rating in tests conducted at https://www.av-comparatives.org/ The most popular free anti-virus programs (AVG and Avast) have poor detection rates (82.82%, 87.46% respectively). Norton is notoriously bloated and takes forever to perform full systems scans. I only recommend buying NOD32 (advanced users) or Kaspersky. It has been proven these products are better than the best sellers (Norton and McAfee) Greetings.

What I've been using a lot time since now, is Limewire, I think this P2P software is good for two things: simplicity and speed. Its interface is very complex but at the same time very easy to use it. You can search simultaneously, you can specify what type of file are you looking at, and finally, it has its own music and video player. You can also share files by IP, letting you share files with your friends. As I told you I had not tried other P2P softwares, but the speed I get is super, and downloading music is a thing of seconds. To finish I would like to add that is multiplatform, because its programmed in Java, so you need to have JRE(Java Runtime Environment) to install it, but don't worry because if you don't the Limewire installation will take care of that. I hope this was helpful for you, greetings. http://www.limewire.com/

Well I suppose many of you know this feature about google, but for those who don't this will be very helpful because this feature lets you among other thing, create email accounts with whateveryouwant@yourdomain.com for free. What is most important is that you use the GMail interface to your account, and you can even change some things, like the picture that appears by default of GMail in the top-left corner of the page. You can also create a default iGoogle page for all the users of your domain, and share Docs, Calendar Events, etc. To add this app, you have to own a Google Account, then google the word "google apps", open the first link. There, put your domain in the top-right corner, and finally add the aplication, after some questions, and showing that the domain is yours, you'll have Google Apps in working for your site. If you have some problems adding the application please post here, so I can help you, but as I said before, is just a simple process. Here I leave you some pictures of the App with my site: (It's in spanish, but you can get main idea) Google Apps own Start Page Google Apps own email account I hope this was helpful for you, Greetings

I was surprised the other day when I read about the types of security connections that you get when you use Gmail. It seems when you use Gmail, Google uses https for authentication and http for everything else, I assume to save resources. I guess my surprise was in that Google didn't maintain a secure session once logged in regardless if you entered the site via http or https. Yes, I may be a bit naive in assuming that this would be done by default. To change this issue, you have to Log In to your mail account, and in Configurations, you have to go to the bottom part of the page, there you can select what type of connection do you want(obiously we are looking for https connection), so select it and then save changes.I hope this was useful for you, greetings.
