GVIM has everything you need (it's my main editor), but really if you need Strong java editor you can use:- free JCreator LE- I've never used it, but I heard that is very fast- free Eclipse from IBM if you can configure it- IDEA - not free, but very very good!- JBuilder from Borland (big and slow)- JDeveloper from Oracle (if you need write under Oracle - ver 9.0.5.2 is very nice)Tom

There IS a GCC for Win32 (MinGW): https://sourceforge.net/projects/mingw/ You should also try Eclipse and of course DevCPP. What is the reason that you need free programming tool? Maybe I can tell you about similar projects tMk
