I had an agreement with dish network on 6/27/2009 it's a 24 month contract. The first 12 months was supposed to be $24.99 a month, Then $39.99 a month for the remaining 12 months. However after 6 months they decided to start charging me $39.99 a month for the remaining 18 months plus they trippled the price of the receiver and there are some other fees for a total bill of $59.99 a month. They told me my contract says the price will never go down but can go up. Based on my experiance I would highly recommend NOT doing bussiness with dish network. If you feel like you must do bussiness with them have them send you the contract and have an attorney review it and guide you thru it.-reply by Shane

Your problems lie in your routers on the client side..That is if you can connect to others outside.Firewalls only help if you are not using msn chat and using some other product, let's say Famatechs Remote Administrator...Ports are assigned manually, and an internet connection is all you need, well along with the firewall forwarding your chosen port on the client side. ..Same on your side the "server". I ran into a problem with both msn chat and remote administrator on my neices side down in arkansas...I'm from nebraska...Her new router is blocking in a sort of way my connect to her and from her...I've connected to the state of Maine to my aunt's computer and her to mine works fine. So I'm still in the third day of troubleshooting this mess. But from what I am seeing...My neices computer router is not resolving ip numbers ...Ner NAT is not ON. Or not selected..This I don't know much about..As insaying can you turn on NAT or off? is that is so..Then we are in business. stick with CFColdfusion Vs. PhpColdfusion is the way to go. The reason being is Adobe is a great company and has really amped up its products in the last couple of years. RIA development is where it's at. Think about it... Everyone loves TVs today that look great and are bigger, better, and faster. Adobe Flex and Flash provide all those great things. Sure you can use PHP and ASP with Flex (among many others)... But since ColdFusion is "their" product... They easily integrate it with Adobe Flex. Plus you need so much less code to get the job done with CF. And the CF administrator shows you everything you need to know about the inner workings of your server and memory in real time. These other products like PHP and ASP charge extra for programs like that (as well as charging for additional functionalities that CF includes). Silverlight just can't keep up and Flash is on 99% of computers. plus Adobe now offers CF for FREE for academics! a win win so you won't have to pay. I do recommend teaching computer students EVERY language. Give them a dose of each one so they have experience with it. I know some PHP and have used ASP in the past... But I prefer CF and have been using it for years and years. PS I think its funny when people say CF is slow... It's only as slow and limited as the web developer makes it. After that I was requested to reboot, which I did. When the computer rebooted was still everything in Greek and inside the C/Windows/System32 I found: Shell32.Backup, Shell32.Dll and Shell32.Dll_SafeToDel. Any suggestions?? Mac Cached Icons, getting an old thing right...An Icon IssueHi All,As old an issue as this is, there are many people still struggling to sort out a solution for this when it continues to fail after applying offered solutions...Couple points, and here's the deal... - proper datatype for Max Cached Icons is String (REG_SZ) - if you are using known good solutions and they fail, or - if you are setting it the correct way and it reverts to a Dword datatype (REG_DWORD) and keeps failing, or - if it just seems broken or wrong to begin with (when you look it up in the registry),..., there is an explanation, and a solution, for this.It could be because of a third party element that is rewriting the registry key "Max Cached Icons" - Widcom Broadcom BlueTooth Drivers have been known to do this. They were informed about it, fixed it, and some of their drivers have been known to have been fixed... - but I have the latest drivers and they are 'broken' again...No matter what the deal may be that is "undoing" this for you, I finally figured a workaround. At my school, most people are a mix and fit into multiple cliques. If a person were to fit into only one clique, they wouldn't fit into the typical stereo type. For example, our atheletes are nice to everyone. There is little bullying, if any at all and nobody is called a geek because brains are appreciated at our school. Geek is a very old term and the word "nerd" is usually only a term of endearment or soft teasing within friends. Sometimes cliques are just a group of friends and they fit into different cliques. Some connections are through friends of friends and then the group forms. For example, a choir person can be in Japanese and be a genius, who knows other people in Japanese class and they introduce their friends in Japanese to friends in Choir and Choir friends to their genius friends and a group forms thanks to theconnection through the first person. There aren't any freaks really either...Our social order goes by age. Seniors are the most respected, Juniors come next, then sophomores, then freshman. The freshman are not picked on or put into dumpsters. Our school actually goes way against movie high school clique stereotypes. Nobody actually knows who the cheerleaders are unless they're friends with then in other cliques. Rather than the sports peopleBeing the most popular, I would have to say the students on our dance team are the most popular because our dance team ROCKS!We even sell T-shirts cause they're so awesome.
