blood typeYour Blood Type?Replying to wendyladyI know it's been a while since you asked the question, but here goes...In order for two B parents to have an O child, they both have to be carriers of O blood type. You inherit two characteristics, one from your mother, one from you father. B is dominant over O, so you are both BO carriers, but the B is dominant, so it is the trait that is present. You had a 75% chance of having a child with B, 25% chance of having one with O. Confusing as heck, but that's how it works.Your possibilities would have been 25% - child with BB (or simply , 50% - child with BO (would have been a carrier for O, but would have been blood type , and 25% OO (or simply O) B O (mother)B BB BO childrenO BO OOFATHER-reply by Rhonda

View on life.Your Goal In Life?I've actually been wondering this for a long time. Without knowing who you are, why you are, and what you are, you can really never find out what your TRUE goal in life is. Don't get me wrong, I've no clue myself. But, there is a small goal I'm looking at thats always in front of me. To be honest it's in front of everyone. TRY and find your who, why, and what, we are. I think my goal is to find this out. The one that really bugs me is why we are. In the U.S, The most socially accepted answer for this question is the belief of Christianity, that God created everything. I would just imagine if I was born in the middle east and believed in another God, how this would effect my life. All of this I've wrote, and I could go into so much detail it's an eyesore just to look at, is nothing more but a step in finding my goal. I've had something on my mind for a while. It goes a bit like this: "When I pass, being it to God, or even into the earth and nothing happens. I wish to look back on my life as being meaningful and complete." If any of you read this, please, I really hope I can fulfill that goal. But, It takes two to make it happen. I hope I've enlightened people, and possibly after reviewing this enlighten myself. -reply by Monte

Chase-good Example Of Bad Banking Stay clear of them
iGuest replied to Joshua's topic in General Discussion
Chase- what a joke bring back WaMu!Chase-good Example Of Bad BankingReplying to JoshuaI made an ATM deposit April 7 and came to find out that the funds won't be available until April 15! This check is drawn from an account with Chase- it is just a matter of transfering funds. There is no information anywhere stating the holds on ATM check deposits. I'm bailing out my money and taking it else where. Sorry you had that issue and to think I came really close to doing the same thing. They took my overdraft account away that I had with Washington Mutual and wanted to give me another that they charge you $10 per transaction using the overdraft card that is separate from the ATM card. You have to know you might go over on the ATM, so you are suppose to use the overdraft card and get charged $10.00! I don't understand how this bank stays in business- oh by taking advantage of their customers. -reply by jdavis -

CMS + phpbb solutionBest Cms And Forum Combination2 weeks ago I had no clue how to setup a forum never mind a cms, after googling quite a bit I decided on phpbb for the forum and stargate portal as the cms.. all I can say is I am very pleased with the results, it is not as difficult as some may say to get stargate up and running . the steps I used were 1 - install phpbb 3.0.7 2- install automod (just drag the install folder into your root directory, then point your browser to yoursite.Com/install and follow the on screen prompts. 3- once phpbb is installed drag the stargate portal folder up to store / mods folder. 4- go to the admin control panel of your forum click the automod tab, it should show stargate portal as present but uninstalled, click install, if you get a message saying it may not have installed properly, click force install. 5- point your browser to yoursite.Com/portal. Then click on "please open index.Php to install" Thats pretty much it, just to add after each install, delete any install folder you may have in your root directory. my site is still under construction, but if you want to take a look you will see how a relative noob to all this has done, you can find my site at http://tournamentgamingworld.x10.bz/phpbb/portal.Php The biggest challenge I found was getting the info telling me how to do all this, but as I have now posted this hopefully it will help others who wish to do the same. Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 > Nod32NOD32 vs. Kaspersky: Which Is Better?I've used Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 for some time now, almost a year.Despite what others have said about system resource usage and speed, I believe it comes out on top.1.) KIS 2010 has a massive load of features that you can customize to exactly your liking (one main feature would be the amazing firewall, blocking unwanted applications from accessing the internet, blocking intrusive IP-based attacks, etc.)2.) Kaspersky isn't all that slow to start up, as others have said. Recent updates to v-9 have decreased the startup time and system resources by a large margin from the previous versions. Comparison between Nod32 and KIS2010 showed that Kaspersky reduced startup time by 13 seconds (a total of 29 seconds until startup was complete).3.) KIS2010 vs Nod32 scans showed that Kaspersky picked up 89% of possible infections vs 58% with Nod32 (all databases up-to-date).4.) The average RAM Kaspersky runs with after startup is ~43.07MB (43,072 KB) of memory, vs Nod32 standing at 37.79 MB (37,795 KB).5.) Kaspersky's Link Filter is also a useful tool, which Nod32 does not include. All in all, I would say that Kaspersky outreaches Nod32 in just about every area, the one outstanding category being the speed of a full system scan. With higher detection rates, a far better quarantine system, and an option to run .Exe files in a virtual environment (you can even fully install them to find out what exactly they do, without harming your computer in any way), Kaspersky shines brighter than Nod32.In fact, it's by far the best I've seen in quite some time. For all those Norton, McAfee, and AVG users, I suggest you switch over to Kaspersky, or at least find a freeware antivirus software. Norton essentially destroys your system resources, McAfee is technically an infection itself, and AVG has been packed with useless features over the years, and is currently useless.-reply by Chris

Steam is a few people who doesnt cares about customers.Half Life 2/Steam WTF?Well I have a different problem, When I go to update a game(because it says so) then what really annoys me is that you have to update the other games as well.(the games who needs them) and I have a desktop which is a big computer(not laptop) and I have to move it everytime just to connect it to the internet which I have to update something to play it and which can get annoying. The updates sucks because it could ruin your entertainment and the updates takes lots of space from your computer and can take alot of gigabytes (GB) from your internet. It took about 2GB of my internet once. I agree with the person who post this, steam is just a few people who just thinks about themselves and about their money. Man *sight* I would be aweseome if they had the old ways of purchasing pc games offline at shops. But still something must be done, we could have a poll and have a vote and the one with the most votes wins over the debate like a campaign and I comes from South africa if anyone asks if I am a american. -reply by john7

What Is The Best RPG You Have Ever Played RPG=role playing game
iGuest replied to bridenhosen's topic in Computer Gaming
THE BEST CAN BE ONLY ONE!What Is The Best RPG You Have Ever Played I have played and enjoyed tons of RPGs, and I would like to mention a lot of them, but the single very best of them all is without any doubt DUNGEON MASTER 2: THE LEGEND OF SKULLKEEP. It has unmatched atmosphere, great game system, the best shop system I have ever seen in an RPG game and excellent magic system. It also has brilliant soundtrack and beautiful graphics that doesn´t age at all. I finished it many times, yet still I return to it every once in a while a finish it again. Those of you who never tried it - you really missed something huge - get it just now (its abandonware easy to find and runs just fine via dosbox) and play it! -reply by RPGeek -
Shedding a little extra light--getting even further..becoming the Root User. How To Open The Cmd Prompt When Blocked By Admins. I have a nice little trick that no one's really looked into here. Someone earlier mentioned that once you get *to* the command prompt (of which many various ways have been discussed), you can start the "interactive" command prompt, which acts as the system user. This is basically the equivalent to the "root" user in linux. In other words, it's a super user, even higher on the chain than the computer administrator. So I'll tell you how to do it. Say it's 1:30 P.M. At the particular time. The command prompt uses military time, so 1:30 P.M. Would be 13:30. This means that the path you will want to type would first be: "c:windowssystem32cmd.Exe" without the quotes. This will get you a low level administrator access that will most likely make the interactive command prompt usable, otherwise you're just trying to access it with your school or work account, which have almost *no* privileges. Anyways, the next path you'll want to type would be: " at 13:31 /interactive "cmd.Exe" " Take the very first and very last quote off, but leave the quotes around "cmd.Exe" there. The function of 13:31 is supposed to be one minute before your current time, so that there is time for you to complete the path and hit enter before the time. You can schedule it for as far ahead in the future as you want if you need more time, however. After you do this, after the time you set passes another cmd window titled "svchost" will appear. At this point you can close down the other window so you don't get confused. Now comes the really fun part. with the new Root User access you have, you can type in "taskmgr.Exe", without the quotes. This will bring up the Task manager. Don't be alarmed by what comes next, and if you're following these directions at this particular moment, memorize what comes next. It's pretty easy. You'll want to go to the "processes" tab on the Task Manager, fine the process "explorer.Exe", right click and press "end process". This will make your desktop and almost every window except the Interactive Command Prompt disappear. Now type in the command prompt: "explorer.Exe" without quotation marks. You may see a box in the top left corner saying "applying personalized settings", and then the desktop should appear. Congratulations, you are now the Root User, or the System User of the computer you are using. You are the most powerful authority over the computer for the time being. However, be extremely careful using this power. If you change something, it will change on *all* accounts, and you can damage the entire system by making simple mistakes such as moving the wrong system file or shutting down the wrong process. Literally, you can do anything. Baddass huh? Note: the reason why you can access the System User by doing this is because when you are running as the System, anything you open has system priveleges. Therefore, if you close down your explorer.Exe that has been given limited privileges and instead open a new instance of explorer.Exe with the *interactive* command prompt...You are opening a file that has full system privilege. It's nifty, it's amazingly easy once you get the process down, and it's fun to do. It's definitely one of my favorite forms of privilege elevation. Have fun and see what else you can do =[) -reply by Christopher

Did the dual thing but having problemsDual Boot: Vista & Ubuntuhey. I did the Vista/Ubuntu 9.10 dual boot by following a guide from the net. Only thing, the guy didn't say to defrag before carving out the new partition with the Ubuntu partition program. As a result, my machine is unstable. Vista has a hard time starting after Ubuntu has been operating. Vista goes through several "fix" attempts before it finally starts. I think this is because the Ubuntu partition program carved out the new partition instead of having the Vista partition program do it. I have tried to fix the install with ntfsfix but it doesn't stay stable. It says it is fixed but isn't. I'm thinking the only way to fix a dually laptop is to wipe out ubuntu, repartition the space so Vista partitioner does it, and then load ubuntu. I think the Vista partition table is corrupted by the Ubuntu partioner. Any thoughts? Much appreciated. -reply by AdamAnt

water therapyAmazing Water TherapyI would add to all that is said When you are going for a water therapy please see to it that the water if free from chemical products/metals and other virus/bacteria. Taking clean/crystal clear/ fresh water will surely help in dealing with the health problems listed in the email send by ezz. A piece of advice: Drink plenty of water, do breathing exercise in the morning with the objectives to increase oxygen in you body, and go for a good balanced diet with minimal toxin content. You will surely see yourself being relieved from health problems like even cancer [depending at what level the disease is] In addition one should always be positive minded. Anuj -

Skinny WristsSkinny Wrists First of all, let me point out that it is pointless to try and do exercises to make your wrist grow. The wrist is made up of bone and tendons so there isn't much muscle to enlarge. By doing curls, you will make your forearms larger thereby making your wrists seem even smaller. You could gain a lot of bodyfat or have an operation, but I do not suggest that you do this. I think you should just let it be. Don't force yourself to wear long sleeve shirts in summer to hide your wrists. Anyone who calls you anorexic probably isn't worth your attention anyway. PS Most guys like girls who have smaller features than themselves, so it's okay. As a guy myself I wouldn't let something as trivial as wrist size influence anything. As long as you're friendly, genuine, and trustworthy, any decent person will like you, know matter the wrist size.Hope it makes you feel better about yourself! -reply by Timinator

Problems With My Computer FanProblems With My Computer Fan I realize that this an old thread but.. Your CPU and/or case fans should normally spin up at full speed and slow down after POST. If they stay at full speed all the time: The CPU is over heating - clean the thermal paste off the CPU and heat-sink. Re-seat the CPU and apply new thermal paste before putting the heat-sink/fan back on. or The PSU is bad. Find someone that can test it for you and verify that. or The worst case scenario. The motherboard and/or CPU is fried and need to be swapped out with new ones. Another possibility is that the motherboard is grounding out on the case somewhere but this uncommon unless the computer was built by a novice. One last possibility is that your graphics card is so shot that its causing your system to overheat. This would cause graphical issues during POST.
