I recently started a blog on blogger but its just OK.

I use photoshop but if you want a free one, I would say GIMP but it is quite complicated, there are also some online editors.

I really like the layout but the blue is too blue, the blue-ness and the stripes are very distracting. And I don't really like the the title reflection, but good use of greys.

Solar power seems like a good solution but its just not practical, yes you could use the solar panels for some of your electricity but to rely on it completely, can't be done, what happens if theres a rainy season?
