  1. Hey, good job! Just about all of that was right on the spot. I agree with everything in the post, and just about all the guy stuff applies to me.
  2. Okay, thanks! All I needed was confirmation that it is somewhat safe. And thanks for the comments.
  3. Okay, I am trying to password one page of my website. I need confirmation if this is a safe code or not. The whole code is on the page I'm protecting. <?php include('header.php') ?><?php// Define your username and password$username = "THE_USERNAME";$password = "THE_PASSWORD";if ($_POST['txtUsername'] != $username || $_POST['txtPassword'] != $password) {?><h1>Login</h1><form name="form" method="post" action="<?php echo $_SERVER['PHP_SELF']; ?>"><div align="center"><center><table border="0" cellpadding="5" cellspacing="0"><tr><td><label for="txtUsername">Username</label></td><td><input type="text" title="Enter your Username" name="txtUsername" /></td></tr><tr><td><label for="txtpassword">Password</label></td><td><input type="password" title="Enter your password" name="txtPassword" /></td></tr></table></center></div><p align="center"><input type="submit" name="Submit" value="Login" /></p></form><?php}else {?>The stuff being protected here....<?php } ?><?php include('footer.php') ?> Is this a safe script, or could someone possibly discover the username and password?
  4. Well, I'm not really sure where it can be used. I'm using one as a desktop right now. I also made an avatar and sig out of another.
  5. Sorry, I'll downsize the images. And, thanks.[EDIT] Okay, I downsized the images. Is that better?
  6. My operating system is a Windows XP Media Center Edition. My processor is a 3.20 gigahertz Intel Pentium D. Here is my drive statistics: I used BeLarc for my info. What are your compy stats?
  7. I love Firefox! My favorite feature is the tabs and the ability to stop links from opening in a new window. I also like the fact that there are tons of downloadable themes for it, and that there is a Web Developer Toolbar.
  8. I play an MMORPG called Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided. It is a very vast universe. It includes both ground and space combat, and you can fight for the Empire or the Rebel Alliance. It has a huge amount of role-players, and you can create your own guild. Aside from making a guild, you can build your own city. You can place your own house, and customize it with furniture and decorative items. There is also a fully functional leveling system and nine different professions. You can travel through the Star Wars Universe from level 1 to 90, starting on Tatooine, and ending nowhere. There are guild wars, Factional Battles, and you can even get married. There are also Star Wars heroes and you can even fight some of them. I think SWG is a great game. Who else plays SWG?[EDIT]Sorry, I posted this in the wrong forum... I meant to post it in the Games RPG forum.
  9. I prefer Yahoo mail. I like it, because it is pretty quick loading, and it is pretty good about what is spam and what isn't. I also like the frames in the inbox area, it makes it very easy to navigate the email area.
  10. Hello, I will be teaching you to make a vortex in Photoshop CS3 or CS2. (Ugh... My comp froze while I was writing this the first time and lost the whole tut, so I'll try again. First make an image with any proportions. I prefer 1000x1000. Next pick a primary and a secondary color. You can use anything, and if you don't know what you want, just use White for primary and Black for secondary. Now go to Layer -> New -> Layer, and press OK. Then go to Filter -> Render -> Clouds At this point, I have: Now go to Filter -> Blur -> Radial Blur, and select these settings: Amount: 100 Blur Method: Zoom Quality: Best At this point, I have: Now go to Filter -> Pixelate -> Mezzotint, and select Medium Lines Next go to Filter -> Blur -> Radial Blur, and use the same settings as before. At this point, I have: Now go to Filter -> Pixelate -> Mezzotint, and select Fine Dots Next go to Filter -> Blur -> Radial Blur, and use the same settings as before. At this point, I have: Now, you can change the colors and brightness by messing around with the Hue/Saturation. And here is my finished product: Tell me if you liked the tutorial.
