If there is a smell then it is the power supply because the mother board don't give out a smell as i know...so try getting a new one with 24-PIN and take care while plugging it to the mother board...if the computer is not responding to your press on the power button then maybe the mother board or the processor is damaged

hello,I'll try to help ya in this as much as i can...try when starting ur pc press on F8 before the windows starts loading then select (Last know good configuration)and see...will it run or no...it maybe a virus or a worm as others said...if that game is online so may someone hacked you and putted that virus or worm so it loads when the windows loads to restart itso try pressing F8 before the windows starts loading then select (safe mode) then scan your computer well with your anti-virusand try downloading the update for ur from other computer and install it then try scaning again...

I just wanted to make my pc a server, in order to have my own domain name in internet with my serverat home. how do I do that? should I install "Windows Server" or I can do it dirctly on Windows XP???

I think that this could be in windows XP but it will be easier in windows server...

the problem is still with me :XD:whenever i try to import my .sql file it gives me errors...sometimes it tells me you are unauthorized...And sometimes SQL syntax error :)So what i have to doooooooo????????????????????????????????????????????

the SQL is the language and the MySQL is a company making programs for that language...like the php and the phpBB...They are same is the name there is the difference between just the BBbut php is a language and phpBB is a forum using that language and that's all:XD:

I've tried this when my computer know-how wasn't as good. What happened was my downloads actually went slower, and they promised that you could pause a download and resume it anytime you want. So, I downloaded 25% or so of a file, paused it, and shutdown the computer. Upon rebooting and trying to resume the download, I received an error message. Trust me folks, this is a waste of time, if you want to pause your downloads without shutting down your computer, then just download with Firefox, it comes standard.

So if "Resume not Supported" is written then if you paused it you cannot resume it

and if "Resume Supported" is written you can pause the download and resume it whenever you want

I have internet explorer 7 on both my computers and im super happy. I didnt really like firefox because i just got too many messages and I didnt like how it downloaded.... it never worked for me so I had to open it in internet explorer and download from there :XD: I think I was just unlucky, but I'm happy with IE7 and I'm sticking.
I heard of opera... What is it?

Opera Is also an explorer like internet explorer and fire fox...

but i used it once from a long time ago i think its like Fire Fox

There's a DECENT similar addon for Plus, called uSay.

I know that addon and i'm having it too and i was also having the addon of the Messenger Plus (The Usay) but it was just writing the other's name not the font but i think that the thing you said about !say isn't it because i'm using !imitate not !say....

Did you modify the SQL file to use the correct mysql information? If you are installing the database here on the Xisto, the database requires a prefix. Add "youruser-name_" to the front of the database. Check the MySQL tab in your cpanel to see what I mean.
Example, for my account, the database is prefixed with "jlhaslip_" so the mysql file named "forum" becomes "jlhaslip_forum".

Well this morning I was surfing around the mozilla site when I saw a quick blurb about IE8 on there site, but started; the improvements of course RSS, CSS, HTML, AJX and so on and so forth, and oh yeah lets steal a few more idea's from firefox, so far only 2 have been listed; Undo close tab, saving and restoring sessions . A few sites mentions even more rumors that a IE8A (alpha) is already being tested at Microsoft, so could we seal a beta in late 2007 or early 2008? Most likely since thats when FF3 final comes out.
Of course the question to us coders is will it pass the Acid test and be able to handle CSS1-2 at !00%?? Who knows.
