Piercings are beautiful things, and are a good way of expressing your individuality. I plan on getting my ears pierced eventually, but that's as far as I'll go. I don't think people should have too many piercings, it looks lousy if you're covered in them, just like an excess of of make-up does. Everything in moderation!

I am a male, and I currently live in B.C., Canada. I'm an avid Japanophile, I love computers, reading, and play D&D. For the most part, I'm a lifeless geek, so I should be able to contribute regularly.

Yar, most of the time I use text smilies. Text smilies don't have any noticable effect on load time or CPU usage, haven't had their reputations ruined because of spammers, can express just as much, if not more emotion then image smileys, and can be slipped into posts more often without getting annoying.

I don't use them very often myself. When I do use them, it's usually just a , , or smiley to indicate sarcasm. They can be nice additions to posts, but it's extremely annoying when people use them every second sentence, it crowds the post and makes it more difficult to read.

I was searching for something on Google, and one of the threads here was relevent to the search.When I noticed that it was a free webhost I signed up promptly, I was getting tired of Freewebs.

Wow, what a great story, you really persevered where many would have faltered, good job. The way you've set it up is ingenious, it develops a good community, and maintains itself without putting ads on the hosted pages, something which most other free webhosts cannot boast. It's not common to find a webhost that actually cares about it's users.
