I live in Bangladesh. And I am using Windows XP. Because as I am a poor man so I do not have enough money to buy a Vista CD. Last couple of Days ago I went one of my friends house and found out he is using a nice Operating System and thins is nothing but Linux[ubuntu]. And the OS is not that tough enough. In fact this particular OS is maid for Desktop, Laptop Computer. One special thing about "ubuntu" is it has dozens of different language and many languages are available via download. And the most beautiful thing is it is full free . Is it not grate?. Any one can get this CD by requesting the "ubuntu" team that I need the CD over Internet. Mostly all Linux distributions are free and have many different languages (I use Mandriva, really easy yet powerful distro, which even has support for Zulu language (?!)).

 

Wow! After watching this video, definitely want to try Beryl. 3D efects I already have are similar, but this is awesome... The only problem is I don't have appropriate graphics card for this (Sapphire ATI Radeon 9600 XT). Anyone has any suggestions or something?

Mandriva Linux 2007. It's fast, easy, suitable for desktop or server. Mostly I like because of the fantastic packet manager.

Most compressing software is KGB Archiever. It can compress some 100 MB to 10 KB (Note the K and M!).However to use such extent of compression, you will need a fast computer and lots of uninterrupted power.

I downloaded a 60KB file and uncompressed it to become 623MB. And it took me 13 hours to do so. Also, I had to suffer power surges and had to restart after about 70% done.
And to compress to this extent, you will need about 2GB RAM (not very common) but sometimes it works with 1GB.

I tried it, it's damn good, but slow... Most of times one doesn't need such commpression.
There's also WinRK (for Windows), quite good, too.

Hello Firefox boys and girls! Have you any argument to support your opinnion that "Firefox is best". Tell me, please, what is good in that browser of yours.

I usually use Opera with plugins disabled, though I still use Seamonkey because it has some of the CSS 3 effects that Opera does not have.

In a couple of days you can expect first Opera 9.5 build - which completely supports css 3.

What BS is that?! Opera is free, available for many platforms (Linux, BSD, Windows. Mac). IE is a piece of crap. Opera is not only the safest and the fastest browser, but also the most inovative!
