Does anybody have an idea to help with a wireless networking signal. I can barely see it and i need a cheap and effective way. Any Help would be appreciated.

Your best bet to extend the range of your wireless network would be to go out and get yourself a wireless extender. Another possibility would be to get an external wireless antenna for the computer farthest from the router/access point. Good Luck

Anyone Have Tried Wireless Internet ?
harshcpu replied to RemoteConnection's topic in Computer Networks
Wireless is very broadWireless hot spots are usually connected to a high speed internet connection but can be connected to a slower connection. Usually you are luckily and have high speeds but the causes for low speeds usually consist of a slow connection or weak wireless connection. It is pretty good but just think about it. with all of the wireless they have out now just think of how much radiation you are exposed to today. Radio Waves , TV waves, cell phones, wireless routers and pretty much anything else that is wireless. -
Nice case - i like the like the lights and it has a good design for the cooling. Would make a very good case for a gaming compputer

STOP RIGHT THEREDo NOT use a computer without a grounded outlet.I would recommend that before you buy a computer get an electrician in there and update your electrical equipment. The main reason is a power surge. It may not sound that bad but especially in a place with older electrical equipment it can be dangerous. Not only to a computer but to any electrical equipment. It can supply to much power to it and short it out.If you were to have a power surge without a grounded outlet where is the power going to go? To the board and all other parts of the computer and it will most likely be 100% shot without a single salvageable part.

Computer Would Not Boot Cant be specific on this subject sorry
harshcpu replied to C2C's topic in Hardware Workshop
Well lets take this one step at a time. The first thing that i would recommend is that you try booting in safe mode ( f8 when the system is booting) if you are luckily it will boot. If it does just do a system restore. If that does not work The second thing that I would recommend is that you get a boot able windows xp cd.Bood from the cd and when it reaches the menu get into the repair menu (usually r)You should get to a repair prompt Type in chkdsk /r and let it run - hopefully it will scan all the files and repair the corrupted files.Once it has completed restart the computer - hopefully that will have fixed your problem if not i recommend you back up all the information from the hard drive ( documents, software, drivers, ect.) -

There are some positives and negatives to Vista. Mostly negatives though, the main negative that vista uses allot of resources that previous versions of windows which requires you to have the most up-to-date hardware with the up-to-date drivers. Another negative to vista is the fact that it all the programs that you may use in earlier versions of windows may not be compatible with windows vista. Last the negative is the UAC (User Account Control). Windows ask you for every detail for "security reasons" even opening certain programs, windows will ask you if you allow it to access your computer.
