AGREED! You must procur a copy of Star Ocean:Until the End of TIme. The game is admittedly "challenging" at points but it truly a great game. From the weapon customization system to the RT battle system! GAH! Coming from playing Star Ocean:The Second Story this game will definently not dissapoint! :D

  2. Shin Megami Tensei:Nocturne

Has anyone else played this fantastic game? Its probably one of the best and most innovative RPG's I've played in a really long time. From the mature, deep, and beautiful story to the unique and often times, breathtaking graphics this is a title that everyone should pick up! Whether your a fan of traditional rpg's or not this game is not to be passed up! :D

  3. personally i think the 2 screen thing.. is excessive, allthough good in a way, because it clears one screen for the game it self then the other screen is the stats etc. but the touching thing, like what is the point of that?!?! just a way to make more money when it breaks i think.. meh, just my opinion, im not gonna argue about it.

i wouldnt buy it, screen is too small, i like big screens(ie. tv screens haha) but, i dont wanna go buying a gamecube just so i can play my gameboy on the tv, waste of money, spend less money buying an xbox or something. although i may consider buying a GB SP if i was going for a long trip, but that would be it!

I think the "touch pad" function was meant as more of an innovation as apposed to a money maker. Its an interesting take on next gen handhelds. Being an owner of a DS myself, I often find myself paranoid of pushing too hard with the stylus. So, to game on the DS the rage needs to be in check heh. :D Anyway, if its any consolation I think the DS is at least worth a test drive.

  4. After procuring my DS around its launch date I have to admit that I was a little dissapointed with the lack of quality in launch titles. Spiderman, although somewhat fun, was mostly a bust with its subpar 2D graphics. I've heard Mario for the DS is quite good. But, It seems to strike me as a re-hash of a great game for the 64. With a lack of games that take advantage of a truly innovative handheld, save Metroid prime:Hunters, I was a little dissapointed about my choice. But that, my comrads, has changed thanks to these two innovative and promising titles.

These new games ,coupled with promising news for the future of the DS, has truly lifted my spirits. Also, with the promise of wireless online play, the DS looks like it has a pretty bright future. Any thoughts? Comments? :D
