How To Play Runescape Like A Pro Lern The tip top secrets
Drag0nflie replied to runematerials's topic in Computer Gaming
Lol, maybe you should by a rare item like a Santa Hat. They're just too cool. =) Or throw a drop party. Or you could join a clan. Joining a clan is a great way to prevent yourself from getting bored. -
Heh, by an "ownage name" I thought you meant a rare one. Saw a guy named Slash the other day. Now that's an ownage name. Because it shows his experience as a Runescaper. Must of been playing for over a good 5 years to have a name like that.

Oh, noobs. How they infuriate me.First off, let me tell you what I believe the meaning of the term "noob" is. I don't judge people's "noobiness" depending on their level. I judge it on their maturity. What I hate - -When they come up to me and start flaming and cursing me for no reason.-Beggars. They're the most annoying. Especially when they won't leave you alone.-The "My main owns you." or "I own you!" ones are the ones I hate most. These people are the ones that come up to you randomly, for no reason, and start saying that they could "own" me, or that their mains could. And the thing is, they actually think you care and won't shut up. Thank Jagex for ignore lists. But I guess you're right. Since noobs are a good 96% of RuneScape's population, we just have to learn to live with 'em.

This is a good guide. However, a bit more thought should of went into it. Think about it, the only people who will need to get a membership this way are kids who have parents that aren't willing to pay for the membership. You have to be 18 or over to own a PayPal account, so kids are screwed. And since this guide is aimed at kids, it's not really gonna help them much. Should you choose to lie about your age to PayPal, trust me, you won't get away with it. Ya know, PayPal always find out if you're underage; they just don't tell you. Instead they wait until you've builded a high amount of money in the account, and then they terminate your account and take your money. I've seen it happen so many times. Not trying to flame you or anything, and I do apologize if it sounds that way.

Just wanted to comment on a few things said in this thread. And help a few people in need of a few more GP. Money Best ways to make money as a low level free player- Before I go into this, I just wanna get one thing straight. Don't merchant, it's bad. 1, it's stupid how prices of items rise and fall by hundreds and hundreds of K every hour because of merchants. 2, it's easier to make money using your skills. The only reason to merchant is if you're too lazy to train to respectable skill levels. Now, as I was saying... -You don't. Wait until you have better skills and then attempt to make money. When you have low levels, you don't really need that much money anyway. 50k could pro bably last you a weeks. =P Best ways to make money as a high level free player- -Mining. My favourite and probably one of the best ways of makin' money as a free player. Mine iron until you have 5000. You can then sell them in Falador east-bank in world 1 for 100gp each. Quite an easy 500k I'd say. After you reach level 60 mining, you'll have access to the miners guild. That's where you can really start making money. There are 37 coal rocks in there! Mine 5000 coal and you've made, exactly, 1Mil! Congrats, you're now an official RuneScape millionaire! -Woodcutting. Cut willows (don't sell them, just use them for training) until you have at least 60 woodcutting. You can then chop yews. What's so great about this? Yew logs sell in Varrok west-bank world 1 for 300-350gp each. 'Nough said. Those are probably the two best ways in the game to make money as a free player. As for pay-to-play players, I have no advice as I'm not one. Other Stuff Though I agree with some of what you said, there's stuff I also don't agree with. You're right, RuneScape is absoloutely jam-packed with idiots. Mostly children. As much as I hate these people (they ruin the game), there's no point in complaining. They'll always be here. Just 'ave to learn to deal with them. Moving on to what you said about playing RuneScape. The truth is, the game should and shouldn't be played. If you get addicted to the game (which most of RuneScape players are), you shouldn't play. It will screw up your life and health. But on the other hand, if you can enjoy the game without getting addicted and letting it take over your life, it's okay. -
Hey there! So, I was planning on putting my advanced knowledge of PHP, MySQL, SQL, (X)HTML, CSS and JavaScript to use by creating something I've always wanted to create; an online RPG. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's a basically just a game created by using the coding languages I mentioned before. Like Pokemon Crater.com for example. Anyway, I know what I'm doing, how long it's gonna take and the time and commitment I'm gonna need to carry this out. However there's one thing I'm stuck on, layout. I've always been extremely bad at creating website layouts and they never come out well, even with the assistance of Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver 8. So what I was hoping is that someone here, from Xisto could make me one. It would have to be: -Based on the anime Bleach. -A table layout. -A layout with CSS. -A layout with the mainish colour to be blue. (No light blue.) -A stretch layout with menus on each side. -A layout with nice hovers. For example, when you hover over a link, the background colour of the link changes. Or better the background image does. -A layout with images as catagory markers. (But has editable text on it.) If you don't know how to do that, don't worry. -A layout with neat, easily readable coding. -A layout coded in XHTML. Transitional, not strict. -A layout with a good-looking banner with no text. I will add the text myself using Adobe Photoshop. If someone were to do this for me, I would be so happy. I cannot stress how grateful I'd be too! Many, many-a-thanks to anyone who volunteers to do this. Depending on the quality of the layout, I may send (via PayPal only) up to $/?10 to the layouts creator to show my gratitude. Thanks, --Lewis Notice from Plenoptic: Editted to delete email as requested

Hi there everyone! I'm Lewis (or Drag0nflie) and you'll be seeing me around here pretty often probably. I came across Xisto while searching for a free webhost that would suite all my needs. In other words, one that featured a lot of space, tons of bandwidth, PHP and unlimited MySQL bases. And since I heard from a friend that this host offered all that for just forum posting credits, I came here immediately. I was extremely pleased to see that this community, as it would become an important thing for me, looked very welcoming and friendly. My interests include, web design, foruming, reading, ice-hockey (couldn't stress enough how much I love it if I was payed $1.000.00 ), RuneScape, various Animes including Bleach, Shaman King and Samurai Champloo, and of course, football. My dislikes are public toilets, school toilets, raisins, rap music and the list goes on. Stuff I'm Good At: Ice-hockey, making AMV's, swimming, gaming, being lazy hehe. Can't think of anything else at the moment. Stuff I'm Bad At: Being patient. Anyway I hope I have a good time here. Not much else to say really, so, I'll go off and try earnin' some credits. Thanks, --Lewis
