  1. Whoa... Someone finally replied after a month... Thanks, Phoenix... My email is szupie@gmail.com, if email what you mean by contacting you privately...
  2. Hmm... In Hong Kong, we just pronounce it as "at". This might be different in different parts of China, though. The reason why we (Hong Kong people) pronounce it "at" might be that it was a British Colony, and we just used their way of saying it, and haven't changed.
  3. Actually, whatpulse tracks keydowns. The moment you push down your key, the count goes up. But if you hold your key, the count doesn't go up. Also, if you press multiple keys at the same exact moment, the count still only goes up one. Heh, I noticed that right when I found the Geek Dialog, dunno why it took you guys so long to get a wrong answer...
  4. That's a Japanese game.Heh, I've played it a long time ago... I think my high score was 6500 too. It's not that interesting to make me play the game again... There are other games similar to this one, such as that cat killing game on newgrounds.
  5. I'm an sop, which means super operator. It's a higher level than aop (auto op), but lower than channel founder, which is micro. I'll give you a list of aop and sop. AOP: wwheeler (~wwheeler@adsl-158-36-7.asm.bellsouth.net) moonwitch (HydraIRC@d51A4DAB2.access.telenet.be) NBot (HydraIRC@dsl-80-41-6-186.access.as9105.com) SingleDaddyof2 (~sngldddy0@70-32-88-5.ontrca.adelphia.net) Silentsoulx (~mission_m@220-253-86-89.QLD.netspace.net.au) vujsa (~mlgriswol@pcp06841427pcs.bechgr01.in.comcast.net) Trekkie101 (HydraIRC@dsl-80-41-6-186.access.as9105.com) SpaceWaste (~SpaceWast@HSE-Toronto-ppp137096.sympatico.ca) SOP NilsC (~nilsc01@207.190.215.238) ReBeCa (earthling@When.u.see.me.you.will.get.desperate.info) szupie (szupie@dhcp065-024-145-197.columbus.rr.com) XisTo (sales@203.187.218.219)
  6. Is it going to have Windows installed on it? If so, go to your control panel > Regional and Language Options. Go to the Languages tab, and you should see a "default input language" thing. Change the drop-down menu to English. Restart the computer and you should be able to read English and use English programs. Although I think that the Japanese language does use english alphabets, so it's weird why it doesn't work...
  7. Wow... Get a .com domain for free... But that number of hits thing is hard... Is that discrimination? Do you know if you need 6000 a day or just 6000 views for the length of time you own the domain? It'd be easier to be just 6000 a year...
  8. Hmm, I don't think anyone would pay someone to moderate their forums online -maybe except big dumb companies who don't know where to put all their extra money-, because forums don't really require moderators to function properly. But, if it were a real forum (though I can't think of what a real forum would be) with real people talking, moderatorsof that forum might be paid to keep people quite and talk one at a time. OK, that sounded weird. Anyway, there are some people who get paid moderating, I believe, because they work in a support forum where they get paid to answer questions, and they also have to moderate at the same time too. Am I too confusing?
  9. Heh... I downloaded it, but I don't think there's a server anymore... I tried to connect, but it couldn't find a server. Looks nice though, I'd be interested in trying it.
  10. Hmm. Do you prefer to use symetry for attaching the two halves? Or mirror? I like symetry, it usually makes it more rounded.
  11. Hmm... Flash can export your animations into gif files for you, so you don't have to manually make them... You don't have to squish the layers either.
  12. Squashing all the layers? All you have to do is select all the stuff on one layer, cut it, and paste in the same place (ctrl+shift+v) on the other layer. I don't know any quicker way to do this. If you do so, Tweens won't work properly though. An art one might be good. It could make a good impression to customers, making them think that this host is unique.
  13. Is your Invision board hosted on Invision? If it's InvisionFree, it should be. If so, I don't think that you can change the login page, but only the CSS for it. You might be able to give them a request to change the login page, but most likely they will ignore your request, or if they replied, they would not accept because of security reasons. If you really want to have customizable features, and don't care about switching from Invision, try to use SMF. It's even better than phpBB, and much more customizable than Invision. I've heard that there are some programs that can convert Invision databases into SMF ones, so that the things that were posted in your invision board can be transfered to your new smf one.
  14. Did you mean the first one with the blue text or the second one with the blue background? The latter (I just felt like using that word, no reason) one had that ribbon thing taken from Xisto - Web Hosting, just a simple photoshop job (one with not much quality, I'd say...). The text effect was also taken from one of the ads of Xisto - Web Hosting, but which ad it was escapes my mind. The first one on Xisto was original, but the text was kinda unreadable. Its background was nice, though.
  15. If you want to learn all the features of IRC, you'll have to be on it for a few months being curious. There are lots of references online, but there are too much. They may not be about things that you are interested in, and would be very boring to read through only a few of them. It's better to find out for yourself. A good way to learn is by scripting with your IRC client. You will have questions which lead to answers providing you even more information, and perhaps inspire you to make another script and ask even more questions...
  16. Hmm, l337 Nurse Pedestrian, isn't that taken from a screenshot of Xisto - Web Hosting's homepage?Ok, I read the submitions on Xisto, and they were all based on the theme of the Xisto - Web Hosting site too. Hmm, was I supposed to do that also? Oops.
  17. Hmm, I've never heard of the program. It seems really fun... I wonder if it would still tie up the room now that most people have high-speed connections... Is it still available for download? Does it work for Windows XP?
  18. OK, the second version with clearer words is here. I made the gray texts lighter. Go to the page with the banners/logos!
  19. Yes, Tickle is a good site. I've done many tests on it. Some of them are really long, though...

    Whatpulse

I'm just creating a topic here to put the off topic whatpulse posts. See below.Hmm, didn't know "move posts" worked that way. See above, then. Posts moved from this topic.
  21. ... Nope, still the same error. I've done chmod everytime after I upload my cgi and perl files, and check that it was done in ASCII mode. Is there something that I don't understand? Do these posts have some meaning in them that I don't see? They all seem really similar, but not really helping to solve my problem... Thanks for all the help...
  22. No, the extensions/skins reside in your system drive, and they won't ever be deleted unless you reformat. That way when you want your program back, you can return it to the previous state easily. That reminds me that I forgot to reinstall firefox...
  23. I'm closing the topic... It's been resolved for a long time...
  24. Hmm... I don't have shell access to my account yet, so I can't do that... And I did find Perl on the left side onf my Cpanel. I wonder why only trekkie and I can't get our Perl to work...
