  1. BETA versions are meant to find out the "glitches" by testing the product internally as well as releasing that version to acquire feedback from the users. Once all the information is collected; it is used to add to the product to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.I'm really unsure about the safety of that file link. It's better to wait for the final release rather than screwing up your PC. :D

  2. When it all started, I thought it's probably not going to be that serious. But I was proven wrong by far. I'm and Indian (although I don't live in India, and haven't been there much). I'm well aware of the situation there and unfortunatley it's getting worse by the day. Many people have lost their lives and man have lost their way home. They have no way to get back home probably from work or other such places. People don't even know if their relatives are alive and stuck in the traffic caused by all this or not. The situation has really depreciated. I hope everything goes well, and all the help that has been established sure does work out.

  3. I must say, the layout you've selected is pretty good, smooth and nice to view. Although, you haven't added much content, I'm pretty sure it will turn out amazing when you fill it up.About the logo. If you notice on the left side, it's a little off-balance. I mean it's crossing the border just a little bit. Also try adding a borded to the logo to make it fit into place.Rest of the website looks impressive.

  4. My dad and I had to do this twice. Of course everything was gone. We didn't know about File transfer wizard yet. We were still using 98. The first time, we had to reinstall 98, and the 2nd time, we formatted everthing, installed 98 and upgraded to XP. My dad doesn't want to install XP without 98 first. We can't seem to run the XP installer in the "Big DOS mode" *I call it that* SO we just upgrade. If there's a way to install XP in the Dos Mode, please tell me. Any help will be appreciated.  :)

This happened to me also. When ever I popped in the CD and let it boot, it would hang on the screen where it says "Detecting your hardware settings" or something like that. I also used to install ME and upgrade it to XP. But then I upgraded my hard-disk and tried running the DOS boot and it worked. The installation pushed through without any problems. So I guess it was a problem with my hard-disk. You probably are using a old one; try upgrading it, then try installing. Might work.

  5. It won't be any use getting noticed if the other person doesn't want to. What I mean to say is that people don't get mates only because they get noticed. If the girl you're talking thinks that your friend is worth being more than a friend, then she'd express it. If he tried getting "noticed" around, this might just annoy her more, and even she doesn't get annoyed, it won't change her mind about being nothing more than friends. Finding a good mate always means that both of them find each other comfortable and nothing should be fake.

  6. When you don't express your anger instantly, you usually start heating up inside, which is worse, because it keeps building up in you and keeps you in a state of mind where you're always looking for revenge and get annoyed very easily. This happens with me all the time.I too listen to music (heavy metal) to calm myself down; but that is just a temporary treatment, because I don't forget stuff easily. Then if my car is available (many members of my family drive the same car), I head off to the road releasing most of my anger by driving fast and annoying other people, which I feel is very dangerous and believe me, I've been under a weeks therapy for this; but it did not help. I still resort to driving to release my anger, which I know is wrong.

  7. I had gone through this painful process before. I was pretty happy to know about the Files and Settings transfer wizard backing up everything leaving everything the way it was before the installation. That's what I thought at least. You were lucky enough to get some of your documents transfered. For me, it was plain old nothing; and (for me) it takes around a month to insall all the required software and settle down with the settings.I feel for you, because every person goes through a "data loss" phase.

  8. IPB 2.0 is not a free forum package and inorder to install and run, you need to acquire a paid license from IPB. It's not a feature of this free host service, infact I suppose it isn't a feature of any free host; if that's what you wanted to know.

    :P

  9. Movies has been one of my top priorities when considering entertainment. I've liked a bunch of movies, but the movie that really stands out from the rest would have to be Forrest Gump. Tom Hanks is my favorite actor and he was really exceptional in this movie. If you haven't already seen this movie, I'd suggest that you did.

  10. Buy one of those cordless headphones. No cords, no snappning.Although it will be a bit expensive than the normal headphones; but it's worth it considering that you throw away a new one on frequent intervals.

  11. Your header definitely needs some improvement. It doesn't seem like a part of the website at all. Rest of the skin is neat and good to look at. I also like the navigation style. Fill it up with some content to complete the website, although I know it's a new setup and will consume some time to do that.Your website is pretty good overall; and one more thing; try acquiring a new skin for your forums to go with your website. I'll find time and register later. Nice job.

  12. I signed up my name aswell. I think this is amazing what Rob Gendelf (I hope I got the spelling correct) is doing. The mini video clipings displayed between the performances were really shocking. I hope that this turns out just the way expected. Poverty should be eradicated not only from Africa, but all over the world, and if people continue to lend out a helping hand; it is definitely possible.

  13. http://www.getfreefonts.info/ is awsome, Now how do I use them in word or frontpage?

Download the file you wish and save it anywhere on your hard-disk; preferably your desktop. If it's zipped, make sure you unzip before going further. Now that you're done, you should be left with a font file.

Now if you're using Windows XP, simply go to the control panel; click on Appearence and Themes link. You'll be displayed with several options. Now if you notice under the See Also option, a link named "fonts" will be displayed. Click it and paste the icon file from your desktop.

The fonts folder is always found under the control panel in all version of Microsoft Windows. Once you've copied the file under the folder, all applications (Word, Frontpage, etc) will show that under the pull down menu.

    Hope that helped.
