  1. If I were you I would definitely not be happy. I'd be mad as all hell. Your so called friend did something that's pretty serious and I can't believe he would think it's funny to threaten your life. If he hadn't of told you ahead of time then hey may have gotten i nsome serious trouble with the police. It's pretty ridiculous to do and I wouldn't be so kind to him.
  2. I don't have much of a daily routine. My friend and I started working out every other day....giving ourselves a day to rest inbetween each time we got together. The routine includes bench press.....just strictly benchingcurls.......pretty straightforwardfrontal raises - lifting the weights right in front of youtricep lifts - by having the dumbell lifted over your head and flexed down behind your backrow - basically keeping your back straight and leaning on one knee and hand to support your body and bringing the weights to your side.shoulder press - keep the back straight and sit in a chair. raise the dumbells over your head.that's about it. we try to hit up pushups and situps.......but sometimes we forget. it works out cuz my friend just took a course at his college and learned all this stuff that I didn't really know about yet.
  3. Favorite Sport - Well that'd have to be lacrosse. I used to play it for years and have always enjoyed it. I really love watching the games as it's one of the most exciting sports.....especially at the college level. The NCAA tournament championships are always fun in the summer. But on the professional level.....i'd have to say basketball and football. I love 'em both. Baseball's too long for me.......we don't get Rugby or Tennis. So it's laacrosse to play and watch......but of hte ones listed.....it's football and basketball.Favorite player - That's a tough one. I have a bunch of different favorite players. I love Steve Nash. He's really good. Larry Bird comes to mind as an amazing legend. But for now.......maybe Vince Carter, Steve Nash, David Lee......and i'm kinda partial to Earl Boykins.Favorite football player......that's tough. I'll get back to you on that.Favorite team - For NBA it's definitely gonna be Knicks, Celtics, Nets, and Suns. I like a lot of teams but those are my favorites. I'm a new yorker so the Knicks are favored by me even tho they kinda suck. Hopefully this year is better than last. I love the Nets and they struggled a little bit as well. Same goes for the Celtics......and i'm a lil annoyed they got rid of Delonte West and Wally Szerbiack.....hopefully all these teams do a little better in the 07-08 season. The Suns rock and will for a while. For the NFL i'd have to say Giants and Jets. I'm not really partial.....i just love a good game.Anybody watch MLL? Major League lacrosse? It's alright but I barely know when it's on.
  4. I've never really been a huge fan of the books. Maybe because I didn't get into them early enough but Ijust never could sit down and read them. However, I am a fan of the movies and the story that comes from the books. I'm surethey are good but I haven't started yet. Anyway....i'm looking forward to finding out what happens in the harry potter universe if this truly is the last one ever. We'll see. I'm sure J.K. Rowling or someone else may eventually make another........unless they decide to just make their own unique character. Anybody happen to know of any spoiler sites? I kinda wanna know what happens and don't really have the money for the book or the time to read it. I'm looking forward to the next few.
  5. Honestly.....don't need one.....don't really want one. I may be a bit materialistic (I enjoy getting DVDs and CDs) and like nice things.......but you cannot talk me into buying a cellphone for 600 bucks. I don't care that it's also an iPod.....I have an Ipod and don't need another one. Also......the internet isn't that great on the iPhone. They don't support any flash or java because those aren't apple products and so therefore a lot of the internet sites you may want to visit don't work. It doesn't help that the screen is pretty small and I don't wanna surf the web on it. I just can't afford it and even if I could......I doubt i'd buy it.Differen't strokes for different folks tho.
  6. I checked it out and it's pretty amazing IMO. I really thouight it was cool and creative and will help anybody with direction problems. We were playing around with it at work trrying to find stuff in Vegas and also just looking around our streets in New York. It's cool and think it will help Google even more
  7. Happy B-Day/Anniversary Trap. I've enjoyed the hosting so far and really loved the help i've gotten from people on here. Thanks so much and lets go another 3+ years. CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES - COME ON!
  8. Thank you guys......It seems like it was a combo of both of those problems. I reloaded them and added the prefix (I had it on my username but not the database name). Thank you both again. Love the help and appreciate the quickness of the responses.
  9. I believe I tried it.......but will do so again. Thanks for the help. If tehre are any other suggestions then that will be appreciated and helpful
  10. I'm very very new to Wordpress and have been following some tutorials on how to install it.....but I can't get past this one part. I've done everything i've been reading (changing the wp-config.php file so that it reflects my database) and things like that but can't figure out how to get it working. If anyone can possibly help me out either on here, through e-mail (swalmmd@yahoo.com), or on AIM (sn: itrainmonkeys) that would be great. When I go to the wordpress install page I get error messages: jttp.trap17.com/blog/ That's the page but IDK how to get from here. Can anyone help me out? I'm trying to expand but having trouble with this stuff. Thanks.
  11. Too much stuff in not enough time. Trying to cram in 3 villains.....2 girlfriends.......a next door crush......fighting.......turmoil between Parker and MJ..........it was all too much in my opinion. I liked the movie. I did. It had amazing fighting and it's still always fun to see something taht I loved as a kid on the big screen in real life. SpiderMan Swinging through the city always looks magnificent. BUT ..... this movie had too much. You have to create two brand new villains......and give the audience a reason to sympathize and/or despise them. Venom was too rushed and should have been a teaser at the end for the next movie ( I guess they didn't plan on making more until after the release?). All the special effects ang CGI worked really well. The fight scenes were amazing. But the character development and story were lacking. Everything was so convenient.Symbiote lands right next to spidey....out of anywhere in the world it's right there. Sandman and Venom happen to run into each other right away.AND MJ....god I hated her. Such an annoying woman in this one not realizing that Spiderman wasn't cheating just that he's playing up the crowd. I liked Peter walking aroudn all badass tho. That was hilarious. His hop in his step and stuff. Not too bad.....coulda been better.
  12. The only thing I know a bout online education is taht it's easy to slip up. I have taken an online education course (WRiting in CyberSpace) at my school. I don't have experience with online universities and things like taht but I did take a class online. It was strictly on the web and no meeting in classrooms was necessary. The teacher would talk to us through a website and a course blog. He would post reading assignments and dsicussion topics and let us respond and have us make at least 2 comments a week on that blog. I enjoyed it because I didn't have to wake up for a class. It stunk because I would forget to log on sometimes. We also had to keep a blog of our own.....post definitions and term ideas on a Wikipedia type page....and make a few podcasts/videos. It was fun overall but I learned how easy it is to skip out of doing work. Luckily I made up a bunch of the work and didn't have to worry about a bad grade.
  13. There have been too many predictions of the world ending that haven't really occurred for me to take one more seriiously than another. I haven't really been expecting the world to end....but it always is fun to think about how it would. Maybe nuclear armageddon? Everyone killing everyone else by means of weapons. Or possibly just what the bible says with fire raining down from the skies and stuff like that. People were thinking the world would end in 2000 becuase of the millenium. Then it was supposed to be 2001 because 2000 wasn't exactly the millenium. It's also been predicted to end in the 90's, 80's, 70's.....the 2000's . Even this year it's been predicted to end.One of my favorites includes Charles Spiegel, a retired psychology professor, who claimed that the ancient land of Atlantis will emerge from the Caribbean circa 2001.....giving us all of the knowledge in the world. There have been predictions from guys like Nostradamus that were wrong and some guesses of the end of the world were created back in 44 and 56......WAY long ago.So no.....I don't believe it will end in 2012. But we shall see.
  14. I definitely want to get into something with comedy and making digital media productions. Television, movies, radio.....anything really. I've been studying it for a while and am also into web design. I've been trying to learn more but have had a hard time finding good, resourceful tutorials. I need to start researching some more books or sometihng like taht. But yea definitely something with media producition.Editing and making movies with Final Cut Pro or similar editing software.....creating music using Soundtrack Pro and Pro tools. Adding special effects and all of that. I really woudl ike to get a job in that field
  15. I'd have to say no. I mean.....look at the recent past. We've had Altavista and then after that Yahoo. Yahoo was the biggest for QUITE a while. I remember everyone using Yahoo.....but it didn't have a name that could really be attributed to a verb (like Google). When Google came out.....with it's clean interface and simple design plus the great webcrawler system of the search engine they easily took over. One day there will be something used more than Google......but we haven't created it yet. I'd give it like 10-30 years.
  16. Thanks so much for that whole post. I will definitely be listening to some of the thigns you've been saying. I generally don't have a problem keeping weight off......but only recently have I noticed a little more pudge on my body. I need to get wayyy more sleep and start working out a little bit more. Anyway.....this thread is helpful and good luck on your book writing Thorned Rose. Thanks for the info.
  17. Monkey for sure. That is number one. All of my life i've dreamed of getting a monkey and being able to have it as a pet. I've wondered how it would be like. I saw the movie "Monkey Trouble" as a kid and always dreamed of getting one of those really little monkeys.....like the one that David Schwimmer's character had on the show Friends. Anyway.....It's definitely Monkey .... then dog. Dogs are great. I've got two little ones and had another one that died a few years ago. They are always excited and happy to see you. Personally I like dogs more than cats....but that's just me.
  18. I've always found myself wondering this. I mean it's a really weird thing to really think deep about.....but i've always wanted to know how animals think and if it's in anyway similar to humans. I would have to say that they do dream.....but I don't know what about or how it works. I've seen my dogs at night twitching in their sleep or making little noises.....and we've concluded that they were dreaming. I just don't really know for sure however. If anyone defnintely knows then that would be cool.
  19. source: CNN.com So what do you guys think? The expansion is a huge step for the company and I see them growing more than MySpace at this rate. I never would have imagined this for Facebook.....but they have big goals in mind apparently. Thoughts?
  20. To be honest this was a tough call. It's really dependent on the person. Not everyone looks good without any makeup at all and sometimes girls adding just a little bit can dramatically change how they look. Some girls are prettier without makeup........some aren't. Certain girls can just wake up and be attractive while others need a little lipstick or eyeliner to add to their look. But this is also a matter of personal opinion. Different people find different things attractive. What I may think looks good could be weird in anothers eyes lol. It is like that old saying , "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". It's up to you to decide what determines attractiveness.
  21. Thanks so much guys. It's been really helpful. I must admit that I wasn't expecting too much in answers but you've all given some insight. LOL I almost forgot I asked this. Anyway thanks and i'll be checking more into it.
  22. Never played SimTown really. It seems like it would be fun. I was always just into the sim city ideas....but was never old enough or smart enough to get everything running right. I would just build a little and set a natural disaster on them. I did play some fun theme park type games tho.The Sims was a great new game tho. I was hooked for a while because of how funny it was to see them interacting and leraning and growing. Getting stronger and better and working harder at their jobs. I really enjoyed the sims. I recommend it to all. Have to try sim town and see how it is .
  23. Awesome listing. I could definitely use some of these as I'm trying to expand beyond my basic knowledge of web design. Thanks for the post.....I hope there are more to come. Keep it up!
  24. No doubt....Super Mario Bros. 3. It was the most fun and inventive game. They wre all pretty good but I could play the third one (for SNES or NES) forever.Super Mario 1 - Decent....the GFX weren't exactly there yet. I always had to try real hard to beat it but then again I was really young and didn't know much about games. I just enjoyed seeing things happen based on whati was pressing lol.Super Mario 2 - Really cool. Some interesting stuff here. Picking up the radish looking things and having some crazy side-scrolling adventures. I enjoyed it.Super Mario Brothers 3 - Most definitlely my favorite. You were able to fly and use all sorts of wacky add ons. Who else remembers the big boot? Or the Frog Suit? Or using the flute to take you to another level. The letter from Princess Peach that allows you to fly for a whole level. There are so many memories. Two player.....buncha bosses. I really did love this game. I can't wait to buy it in the future either on Wii or online. It's a must have.Mario 64 - Really amazing game as well. Really revolutionized the entire series. Made Mario in 3d and also gave us amazing landscapes and levels. I've recently revisited this game but on the Nintendo DS so it's not the exact same......but it's still great. I love all aspects of it. Awesome stuff here.Mario Party - fun game but nothing too amazing. Good with large groups of people.....but playing it by yourself is boring.Mario Kart Double Dash - Well this was originally a game on Nintendo 64 just called Mario Kart. It paled in comparison to the Gamecube game tho. That's to be expected but once we were able to have two racers, a barrage of weapons, and chooseable cars.....it was all over. I loved super mario kart double dash but like super mario party......it wasn't too amazing by yourself.Luigis mansion - never played can't help ya.I've been really looking forward to trying paper mario. It looks interesting to say the least. I haven't played many of the spin-off games either (yoshi...wario) but they are probly fun in their own right.Super Mario Brothers 3 owns them all tho. Sorry but it's the truth!
  25. Those look pretty cool man. I liked the first few. Just trying to learn here......what exactly is Wordpress used for and how difficult is it? Is it like a blog type thing? or a type of site? Pretty noobish but anyone help me out here?
