  1. It's like this... Referral sites often give a large amount of money, if, and only if, the person you referred to bought or registered to some sites that the referral site refers to. Or as the name of the site infers, it is pretty much bogus...Who would want to name their site Order Cash 4 Free to be successful in this business? Seriously, do this guys even have a life?

  2. Actually, no hands were included in the process of calculating the prime number. The computation were done by computation all by themselves. If I am not mistaken this was done by using parallel computing from different computers. This project was just like SETI@home! You just stand there look and wait for something to happen....Imagine if all the next-generation consoles like xBox360, ps3, and Wii connected to a public WAN to compute for the largest prime. Wouldn't that be amazing?

  3. There is 1 main difference. If I sucide, I do it alone, so that I take the resoponsibility of my actions. And in the euthanasia I ask some one else to do it for me..
    .
    .

For the same reason the euthanasia have to be illegal, but for 2 reasons more: euthanasia is not simply to kill him self is to do so but also asking someone to kill. This is much worse then sucide.

IMHO, or from what I have known, euthanasia can be done without the consent of the person involved. It is sometimes the family of the person being responsible of taking the right action in request for a "Mercy Kill".

It is sometimes use to patients not recovering from a coma after a few months or years. Basically, I think they made it legal since killing criminals were considered mercy killing.

But if I have the authority, Euthanasia should be banned because it is unjust and it still has the word "kill" in it and added a word, "mercy", so it may look not as bad as than it really is. :)

  4. Do not get me wrong buddy, but I think you may have to edit this for some reasons:

    Strictly no referrals.

  5. I like the late colored models like the Nokia 3200. I've dropped mine a few times but still works fine. I've been using it for two years. XDIn your case, it should work again. My experience with that kind of disaster is a bit weird. I enjoyed the company of a phone and forgot that it was in pocket after I soaking in to the depths of a beach here. XXDFor almost a day of drying it under the sun, it worked fine like everything else. :)

  6. Its as simple as that and to be honest simple works the best. In high school I never was single for more than a month at a time yet my relationships never lasted longer than 3 months.

Did you learned the first sentence from the second? :)

You can wait or act now. But if I were you, it wouldn't turn that good if you were to date her now and have a relationship. It'll just end sooner that what you've expected.

  7. Besides i think that at least half of those .95 % (well that's just what i think) actually KNOW that they have turned it off, and that they might not see every aspect of some sites, so they could turn it on sometimes to check out what they missed... And as for the rest of them, I think depending on the site, it is a percentage which we can afford to 'lose'...

Right... Many browsers now inhibit scripts by defaults due to the fact that advertisers use this scripts to make their own way to the person's view or interest.

But not bad that you are able to help those who are new to javascript and css. :)

  8. There was a time when I was hooked with FF7 and not knowing that it needs several CDs and at that time I only have the first! Poor me.Now, I am hooked with FF8, but studies first before FF. It's just that when I play FF8 I always play it a few hours straight (no standing) so it would affect my studies if I play frequently. :)What I didn't like in the FF series are the Tactic versions. No comment on them though. I just don't like the game play of tactics. That's all.

  9. AMD Sempron 2800+ clocked at 1800MhzECS nForce3-A
    1Gs of RAM
    256MB VC, ATI Radeon 9550
5.1 Internal Sound Card (w/ the MB)
    Internal ethernet
No Modem. (Wireless Broadband --> sux at certain times :))
4 Speaker. Two Modified. Two "Creative".
Crappy refurbished Monitor. (Gonna get an LCD one for dual screen)

That's basically my life, I mean, my stuff.

  10. If I have the time tomorrow, I will download and test your forum here in my local web server. I love beta testing and bug tracking.BTW, what is the reason behind this stuff of developing a new BBS and not modify/recreate/develop existing Open-source BBS?**Edit**Funny me, I didn't checked out the link first and see what's up there. I realized that the software isn't downloadable. But hey, I trust you guys that you will come up with a good BBS like what you've done with the electron theme which I admired. :)

  11. Sorry for the inconvenience! The filesystem mounted at / on this server is running out of disk space. cPanel operation has been temporarily suspended to prevent something bad from happening. Please ask your system admin to remove any files not in use on that partition.

Maybe this is why FTP is also down.

Thats the thing I never log off as log into my account. I am using FF2 I think thats where the problem is coming from, been having problems with this browser freezing on me and other junk. I did download fasterfox it help just a bit although not much.

FF2 has been release as a final and official release. I've been through it's development pace and never heard of someone having problem in freezing and having junks. Except, if you're using an old version of Windows Media Player which sometimes makes FF2 crash, and it is unlikely that you're using a outdate WMP. ^_~

  12. ok thanks....do you reccomend any brands? or any drives? im open to suggestions!!!

I wouldn't recommend brands but I would recommend that you pick a drive with low seek time and has a metal casing which is rare nowadays. Common drives now have a plastic (or latex?) cover underneath but some drives are manufactured with metal casing for extra protection. :)

  13. Ever wanted to spam? Well...here's your chance. I'm allowing anybody to spam a specific category in my forum. The category is called Spammers Forum and you can break the rules in it. You still have to be registered, but at least you cna finally spam and break the rules for once. This is only going on for a limited time so hurry!!
Not joking, you will not get banneed for doing so! biggrin.gif

the link is in my sig so spam away!!

NO Offense mate, but making users/guests SPAM on your forum doesn't make your forum increase it's users or guests. It just makes your forum senseless and will decrease it formality to the public at large.

    SPAM = "bad idea/bad thing"

Just voicing my opinion. Still, the decision it yours.

  14. Many people dont understand that the clock speed of dual core is the combined speed of the individual cores of the processor. Say you have a dual core processor running at 2.4Ghz (Aka Intel Core 2 Duo E6600) each core of the processor is running at 1.2Ghz to combine to form the total 2.4Ghz clock speed. You cant say you have a 4.8Ghz processor because you have a dual core running at 2.4Ghz. Each core operates at the processor clock speed divided by the number of cores.

Just wanted to clear that up...haha

I assumed that the G5 processors were operating a 3.0Ghz per processor. And blender has a quad core motherboard. I didn't said that the processors were dual cores, which I assume, are not. Oh well, dual core or not, quad core means that..., wait, OKAY, my fault, maybe I was thinking about the Quad processor motherboards but not the Quad Cores that can be contained on Dual processor motherboards. If that's the case then:

Quad Processor at 3.0Ghz is 12.0 GHz

Dual Processor at 3.0Ghz is 6.0 GHz

As PlugComputers said, the 8GB RAM were pretty much useless if the workstation was used as a sole operating machine. That RAM may have been used resourcefully if it is used as a web server or Resource Server. *wink* *wink*. Another free webhost perhaps. XD

Looks like AeonLan beat me to the answer, 1 minute late. Haha agree with the information provided though.

    GOT YAH! :)

  15. Oooh... Ooozing amounts of RAM... 8 GB of RAM simply makes my mouth water. laugh.gif By the way, how much does a 1 TB HDD cost nowadays? I think I want that too. biggrin.gif

I just want to ask a question... How did you come up with 10 GHz? I mean yeah, you have a quadcore PowerMac G5... But according to Apple's website, the highest clock rate so far is 3.0 GHz only... Just asking... No offense...

Clock Rate * No. of Processors = CPU freq. speed.

    3.0 Ghz * 4 (Quad Core) = 12 Ghz.

12 Ghz is definitely greater than 10 Ghz. :)

I envy BlenderGalactica :) So much power constituted on one pc. I would guess that you have two monitors as well. 8Gs of RAM and 10Ghz of power is more than enough for editing. And with 1TB you could start your own mini/medium Hosting Enterprise. XD

    As for the main topic,

Can anyone out there explain to me what a dualcore pc is all about?

A dual core PC is a Personal computer powered by a dual core Processor, e.g. Intel Core Duo, Core Duo 2, AMD's X2, and G5, etc.

I know they have two processors, but what is so special about that?

As they've said, two processors "processing" at the same time saves you a lot of money and time when doing tasks at the same time (multi-tasking). Extreme processing speed will boost your system. Let's say that you have a 1GB RAM and 512MB of VC but with only a 2Ghz Processor, you may not experience the full capabilities of your RAM and VC, but for the Dual Cores, it is the other way around. ^_~

Can they run together or are they seperate?

Dual cores always run together, they are etched in a single die. But earlier models of the Intel Dual Core, (Pentium D, right?), has been modified to be two processors sticked side-by-side to look like they are "real" dual cores.

Can anyone give pro's and con's for them?

PRO: Extreme Speed and Processing Capability

    CON: Extremely expensive. XD

And are there any issues with them?

You may have to upgrade your existing motherboard due to the fact that only new motherboards support dual core processors.
