  1. Eventually with the rate that technology is increasing (and ease nations and people are communicating) there will only be one universal language. Because people are becoming so bilingual and internationally aware that all languages will just merge into one universal language with different dialects.Different laguages were inititally formed by isolation of different peoples. We can already see the breakdown of language with the dilution of accents. It is merely a matter of time before this happens to different languages.

  2. Im 15 and I live in New Zealand. My family imigrated from South Africa about 12 years ago. We still have family in South Africa, and from what they have told me the crime there is no joke. At the moment Johanesberg,South Africa is probably the scarriest place in the world to be right now. My cousin has seen at least two muggings. My aunty was mugged recentley, tied up and thrown into the back of her car Lucky to be alive. Its impossible to walk down the street without being attacked at least once. In fact im pretty sure every person living in South Africa knows at least one person who has been mugged, attacked or even killed. My mother told me a story that she heard from her freind who works at a dentist school there: A professor is asking all his students what they are doing over the holidays, informing them they should try to get jobs. First he asks one student, "oh im working at my uncles supermarket". Then another, "oh im working with my cousin in a surf shop". Finally the last student "Oh ive got a job working with some freinds stealings cars for a local gang". That is how easily crime is looked over in South Africa at the moment. From what I have heard. In South Africa CRIME PAYS, its the scary truth. The prisons are over flowing, AIDS affects something like 20% and millions are in poverty.Apparantley about 150 police officers have been killed so far this year.If you are going to South Africa in 2010 be careful.

  3. While lining up at the chineese takeaways today, I found myself having trouble deciding on what meal I should have. Then I realised that I had eaten it all before and none of them quite cut it anymore...I then found myself inside a fantasy world. It was a strange and mystical world, a world where I only had to think of a meal and it would appear in front of me. I then continued to imagine foods normally deemed impossible or implausible to mankind, I had ventured into a realm of DREAM FOODS:-Deep Fried chocolatte bars-pounders, (not quater-pounders BUT POUNDERS!)-Chocoloatte coated corn chips-Condensed milk Milkshake-Chocolatte fizzy drink-Jesus Juice-Chocolatte ice cream conesSo whats youre dream food???

  4. 5. First of all: BLack Holes are not only theory they have been proved through observations using the hubble telescope. The other day in science we watched a 20 minute long video deatiling the universe. Also I have recentley read a book called "A short history of time". Both of which talk about how black holes are formed. Light and time are subject to the pull of gravity just as much as matter. The greater the density or "mass" of an object the greater its gravatational pull. When a sun dies it implodes and pulls in large amounts of nearby matter. Eventually once the density or mass is high enough, it will have enough gravatational pull to draw in any nearby light "photons". Once nearby light has been drawn in, the sun becomes invisible. And the area of space which used to be occupied by a star is now dark. Thus scientist can prove that there is a black hole there because although the surrounding area is light the area where the black hole resides is vacant.

  6. Both my sisters, aged 17 and 18, have their license. The scary thing is neither of thrm acan drive. When i say drive i mean that its impossible to ride in the car with them without fearing death!. I have had my liscence for a few months now and can allready drive better than both of them. Its not becuase they are stupid or something. Its just that they dont have the urge to drive like I do. If I hadnt tried to get my licsense ASAP i wouldnt have it by now. wor dof advice: get ur liscense ASAP or you will never get it

  7. If the growth of mankind on earth was to be displayed on a graph, the curve would look almost exactly like that of the growth of bacteria on an agar plate over time. The bacteria doubles every 20 minutes, and the growth is modelled exponentially. It would continue to grow this way until of course one of two things happens: 1) The bacterias food source eventually diminishes and runs out. 2) The Agar plate starts to get polluted with the bacterias wasteThen the bacterias population gradually starts to decline until it reaches a much lower population and begins to grow, but this time not exponentially.Compare this to Mankind, Earth being the Agar plate and we being the bacteria. Over the last 20 years our population (excpessialy China) has increased alomost exponentialy, and will continue to do so until we consume all our resouces or our waste. If God is to be the scientist that placed us on our agar plate called earth, he did not intend for us to die. He merely wishes to observe our growth :)

  8. I installed windows Vista a month or so ago. It was terrible nothing was compatible and this message continoulsy popped up up demanding the office 2007 cd. After becoming totally fedup with this new windows I decided I wanted my old windows back. Sadly this could only be achieved by formatiing my entire hard disk, then dopinga clean installation of windows XP. Word of advice: Dont install Windows Vista unless you are totally sure you can be bothered running the risk of having to reformat your entire Hard drisk. To be honest I dont even think the windows Vista was a big step up from XP.

  9. My highschools internet is all filtered from accessing webistes such as games porn etc. In the past i have managed to overcome this by accessing a proxy on numerous websites. This involves going to this website then entering the desired blocked website into a input box. Then that website transfers me to the blocked website via this webiste. At least this is how i think it works....How can I add something similar to this on a website of my own?

  10. Rome being the worlds super power in its time had domininated other nations culturally, militarily and economically. They rose to their position of power over time through the hard work of the people in the nation. Once they had achieved their pinacle as a nation the Roman people had become richa and prospeous. There is no need to push oneselve physically and mentally due to the abundance of wealth. Because of this the Roman people became lazy. When an entire generation becomes lazy the wealth of that genrations parents is spent and diminishes. Then the following genration will fail to maintain the wealth. That following generation could not maintain the vast empire the previos generations had created. And thus the fall of the Roman Empire.
