  1. Got another one for all of you tweaking firefox out:
    1) Ok fire up the fox

    Just a heads up these settings make you download sites considerably faster, BUT they put a great deal of overload on the sites you visit

    2) type in "about:config" the address bar and then hit enter

    You'll see a whole load of options here you will need to change some of the values.
    These ones:

    network.http.max-connections = 64
    network.http.max-connections-per-server= 20
    network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server= 10
    network.http.pipelining = true
    network.http.pipelining.maxrequests = 200 (choose one)
    nglayout.initialpaint.delay = 0
    network.http.request.max-start-delay = 0

    if you can't find "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" your going have to make it. Just right click and hit new integer.

    network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy = 10
    network.http.proxy.pipelining = true
    network.http.proxy.version = 1.0

    now close down firefox and start it up again.

    Now Firefox will burn up the web

  2. Have no doubts... It IS Firefox! Or whatever they choose to call it the next version (It was called firebird earlier tongue.gif )Firefox is technically superior and there is no doubt regarding that. But we should keep in mind that it lacks something that IE is blessed with. IE is bundled with Windows and Windows is the OS of >90% (I think) of all the Pcs in the World!!!Most of the people out there using PCs for basic purposes haven't even heard of the term 'browser' leave alone 'firefox'! So how do you expect them to download and install that software?Most of the 'learned' men with whom I work do not even know the basics of surfing... how do we expect them to 'switch' to firefox?Firefox CANNOT rule the World. Unless Bill Gates buys it or adopts it tongue.gif ...which will be a shame if it happens...So, the truths:1. Firefox is the superior browser2. IE is the dominant browser3. Firefox may never be the dominant browser4. It is a pity... and a shame...Hope I will be proven wrong...

  3. I use AVG free.it's very good and doesn't ask much of your pcsome good points at AVG free:* Free, 24/7 e-mail access to Grisoft's technical support* high-speed server network for downloading update files* Support of multiple languages* Options for configuring multiple program and test settings* The ability to create user-defined tests and schedules* Option to define directories that will be excluded from the resident shield protection

  4. I use ShareAza. there are a couple of reasons i go for ShareAza: 1. It's free2. It's fast3. It's easy to use4. Has a good interface5. Has not so much sh*t in it's network as KaZaA5. supports windows XP SP 26. supports BitTorrent files (so its a torrent client too!)7. allmost all languages you dont get any spyware or adware with it. I think its super -_-

  5. wel i use a lot of deferent programs but if i had to chose i would choose, 1. Firefox, its fast, no spyware, adware or anything of that and no ads (like in opera) 2. Photoshop, you can do really everything with. the pictures i make with it are really beautifull -_- 3. WinAmp, this is the best music-player i've ever use. its small, easy, fast. just everything u need

  6. I think it all looks very nice.Finally internet explorer will have tabbed browsing, Whiee -_- . although firefox had a almost a year earlier. (hope it's a little bit safer too)but I will stay with Firefox, it's so much better. there a a couple of reasons for my decision:1. internet explorer is not really safe2. Internet explorer has no new things anymore, it's not inovating. since version 5.5 hasnt change a bit for version 63. PNG, png is the internet standard for pictures, it's much better than GIF but because of the non-support from Internet explorer everyone uses GIFand about the now hotmail, it looks very outlook-like. but thats no problem to me. and 2 gigs :P . now other email-providers get in the game everything get only better.

  7. Wel, in Firefox you can use mouse-gestures too!

    just click on the link below:

    http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
