  1. The first one I made was with a host called maxpages. I must of been about 8 or 9. I made it about chickens, yes I know (what the hell!)But when you get older and more mature, you see more sides of things and then I thought it was brilliant but now it's like..- Every site you make is flooded with ads- No HTML- No uploading- You have to choose what layout you use from a list that the host has made(Too many things to cover! Not bothered to type it all out, but you get my point).I then went to freewebs and made sites dedicated to games etc. Then went to millions of hosts, make clans for games. Later on I made forums dedicated to Graphics and Game Design/Gaming.Now I really don't know what to do, but I am attempting to make a biking site.Matt

  2. Dear all,This thread will be devoted to biking. I love biking, and maybe you do to? If you like mountain biking, dirt jumping, freeride, BMX or trials - you can talk about it here.I enjoy biking, it's become my sort of hobbie. I go to places with my friends (usually 6 people on bikes) and basically carry spades and create jumps and ramps. We then grab a camera and it's Bikes, Camera, Action! I have a site that isn't up yet (due to no web designers etc) but I have bought a domain which allroundbiking.co.uk and my host is of course; Xisto (which is a great host because it provides nameservers, so instead of having arbd.trap17.com/index it's allround.co.uk/index).Enough about that! I'm not a person that goes and buys real bad quality bikes that cost ?40 - ?100 (no offense to people who do, it just matters how much you want to spend). If you are going to buy a nice bike, I wouldn't go buying a ?500 bike because it looks cool. You should buy a bike that has a good-looking frame that suits you and then just make it your own! Buy new gears, chain, forks, brakes, saddles, handlebars, grips etc. You want to make it original. If you want, you can get a plain cheap frame and spray it yourself by searching bike paint on Google. That will make it extremely original! You can also buy bike stickers to make your bike look even more nice.I personally bought a 300 pound bike, called the Diamondback s20. I am now changing the suspension forks to Marzocchi Dirt Jam Pro 2006's and buying disc brakes and a dirt jump saddle. I will also consider buying paint and handlebars. I'm turning my mountain bike into a dirt jump/freeride bike, that is up for any conditions. So, enough about me and more about you! Post links of decent biking sites and biking products, your bike pictures, specifications and your wishlists and what you want to do with your bike. If you love bikes and want to boast, feel free!

  3. Lego Star Wars II takes the fun and customization ability of the LEGO play pattern and combines it with the epic story, characters and action from the revolutionary Star Wars: Episodes IV, V and VI. With a unique tongue-in-cheek take on the Original Trilogy, LEGO Star Wars II lets you build and battle your way through your favorite film moments. From Darth Vader's pursuit of Princess Leia aboard her Blockade Runner to Luke's final confrontation with Emperor Palpatine. For the first time ever, characters can get in and out of vehicles, as well as ride creatures. Because it's LEGO style, you can also mix and match the body parts of more than 50 playable characters to create one of millions of possible LEGO Star Wars heroes. And on PS2, Xbox and Windows platforms, a game save from the first LEGO Star Wars can unlock another 50-plus additional characters for Free Play mode -- that's more than 100 total characters. Other exciting additions include free-roaming vehicle levels, the ability to switch ships at will in Free Play mode, cool new character-specific attacks and maneuvers, playable mini-kit vehicles, an adaptive difficulty option and more.

  4. A herd of buffalo can move only as fast as the slowest buffalo, and when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular culling of the weakest members. In much the same way the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, we all know, kills off brain cells, but naturally it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, constantly making the brain a faster and more efficient machine.

  5. Every night, Frank would go down to the liquor store, get a six pack, bring it home, and drink it while he watched TV. One night, as he finished his last beer, the doorbell rang. He stumbled to the door and found a six-foot cockroach standing there. The bug grabbed him by the collar and threw him across the room, then left. The next night, after he finished his 4th beer, the doorbell rang. He walked slowly to the door and found the same six-foot cockroach standing there. The big bug punched him in the stomach, then left. The next night, after he finished his 1st beer, the doorbell rang again. The same six-foot cockroach was standing there. This time he was kneed in the groin and hit behind the ear as he doubled over in pain. Then the big bug left. The fourth night Frank didn't drink at all. The doorbell rang. The cockroach was standing there. The bug beat the snot out of Frank and left him in a heap on the living room floor. The following day, Frank went to see his doctor. He explained events of the preceding four nights. "What can I do?" he pleaded. "Not much" the doctor replied. "There's just a nasty bug going around."

    Btw, I know it's basic but I don't care.

  7. Dear readers,

GTA (Grand Theft Auto) has to be the most sophisticated game around at the moment. You can get a car, buy houses, get a hair style of your choice, pimp cars, kill people, go on missions, change your clothing, workout, go to restaurants, buy weapons, cheat (uh huh!) and lots more like girlfriends etc. Quite a few people have bought this game and I don't know one person that hasn't heard of it. Ratings are pretty big when it comes to gaming magazines etc, GTA is very popular. Apparently, Rockstar are creating Vice City Stories. So far, I have GTA 3, GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas. I also have Grand Theft Auto Advance on the GameBoy SP. I don't own it, but I have played the PC version of GTA 3, and personally I don't like the PC version. I reckon that GTA has been made for the PS2. Overall, Grand Theft Auto has come along quite well, updated and more advanced than it use to be, and therefore more popular. It's funny how GTA use to be 2D!

    A well deserved 5/5

Please, all you guys post your comments and add to the editorial. 'Cos GTA deserves it!

    Matt

  8. I think this is a matter of opinion, but mine is the PlayStation. I find that they release all the decent games. When a game comes out, it just has to go on the PS. I find xBoxs are too hard and delibrately difficultly designed controllers. So many buttons. On the PS all you need to think about is how to shoot, jump, activate doors etc and how to move.Perhaps the next xBox will have the whole alphabet on the controller! Obviously the PC is the best but we're talking consoles, and I'd like to get this over with. I personally dispise the GameCube. It's small, cheap and all it has is Mario. Please share your thoughts - and kill me if you love the GameCube and argue with me about xBoxs!

  10. It always comes to the UK late, doesn't it? It's always us that gets the stuff late and the Japanese who get it first. It's really annoying. Apparently it's coming in March? You can wipe that off your Christmas list then. From what I've seen on TV, it looks pretty nice. Each one will have built in internet for online multiplayer game play, blue ray DVD player and a very sleek design. If you like PS1, get a PS2 :)But if you like PS2 you'll love PS3.PS: Sorry for my mucked second paragraph.

  11. I've been looking around Google and it's so hard to find a decent host that doesn't ban/delete your account for no reason, that has a nice bandwidth/space and doesn't flood your site with adverts.Xisto is amazing. All you need is to register on this forum, get hosting credits and off you go. In no time you get a great offer. I need my credits now, but I just want to say, everyone advertise on your sites. Give credit to Xisto, they don't ask for adverts, but it'd be nice if you could give them a little mention on a 'Credit's or 'Links' page.Thank you!
