  1. I use Dreamweaver because of all the features available at your fingertips. The layout is great and simple to understand. One can use the design view for a rough layout and change to the code view to fine tune your web pages. Yes you can open quite a number of pages at a time via the tabs. Dreamweaver does all the hard work. It is not free  but remains a great bit of software.

  2. I tried Zone Alarms PRO , which worked well (must say this was before I installed Winows XP Service pack 2) but seemed to slow my computer down. Been using Windows firewall lately and had no problems so far. Still using a dialup connection so for now its fine. When I get a permanent connection I think I will go for a hardware firewall. Do not know which one yet.

  3. Voted for IntelHave been using Intel CPU's from my very first computer and have not had any of them fail on me yet. I will stick with Intel CPU's because of reliability and stability. However I have heard from friends that some games work better with AMD, but that is not the main use of my computer.

  4. Not enough info and no error message. If you use outlook express for example. Could be that mail account (pop3) is not set up to fetch mail when you hit Send/Recv button. In Outlook Express Goto Tools - Accounts - click Mail tab - choose your AccountClick Properties Check the box -Include this account when receiving mail or synchronizing. One possible solution. ;)

  5. I have a 56k modem.. Ź_Ź it's okay for downloading music.. tends to take 20 minutes or so for a 4 minute song..

I also have a 56k modem. This connection is used mainly for surfing the web and now recently for web page designing and to FTP the site to the web. I want to get myself a ADSL but all ADSL lines have a cap of 3GB. (send and receive combined.)
