  1. I got confused by some of the references to Hinduism

no, it doesnt refer to hinduism as such, all the names "Brahma " etc are from the ancient Indo - European language sanskrit. What happened what was that since this language was spoken in Iran - Pakistan - Afghanistan and Indian region 2500 years ago , the arabs called the people who spoke this language "Hindus" derived from the name of the river Indus. And that name stuck.

Anyways thats way off point. Basically what happened in ancient India was that some saints who got this knowledge, told it to their disciples and one point of time it was lost to the world.

It is good to see nowadays people are finding it useful. I am still fascinated by the existence 4th, 5th and 6th dimensions, maybe I can do my PhD on this sumday?

  2. Interesting find although that kind of math is beyond logic (it pig latin to me). Althogh I find it ironic that the 5th dimension contains that infamous symbol it. But i could be missing something but this math sounds more religious based then actual math:

    QUOTE

The Trinity of Gods namely Brahma, Mahesh, Vishnu are the overlords of real 4, 5 & 6 spaces respectively.

Could a achems razor be put into this at all?

achems razor meaning the simplest explenation is always the best

Yes I agree that it might sound like "pig latin" as you put it. They believed these dimensions are cosmic in nature because one cannot easily see a fourth fifth or sixth dimension. I believe this form of mathematics was the root of the grossly blurred modern hinduism.

Well the germans copied the swastika from us indians, and they tarnished its image.

anyways practical use of the system ca be found at http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

  3. Hi

I was taken aback recently when a friend told showed me some mathematical tricks. He told me he got them from a book on vedic mathematics.

I did some googling and found out that 4th 5th and 6th dimensions do exist. ( I know theres an active thread on this topic), and Fermats last theorem has proven by this branch of maths - Fermats Last theorem

http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ - shows the existence of more than 3 dimensions.

also go to Multi-Dimensions of Time And Space

  4. I was not supplied with any windows XP cds.

Usually the manufacturer takes no responsibility for any damage caused by a software that they did not supply with. Anyways try your luck with them. One time I used Partition magic on my computer and it messed up my hardrive, I had to pay for everything to be set right again to HP.

  5. As long as we can't see / feel / experience anything higher than 3d , we don't have to worry about them. I don't consider time as a dimension, because of simple logic:Suppose an atom exists at present, and if we consider time as an dimension, then one can presume that at one point in time , the atom did not exist , and the next moment it appeared from nowhere, since time as a dimension will allow us to do this."Matter cannot be created or destroyed"

  6. In continuation of the Topic I want to ask a simple question. Is it OK if I already have a domain name like 'rahul-rules.com; and can I get it hosted on Xisto ? so in essense would my domain name be http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ or would it be something like 'http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ or something like that.'

You can park your paid domain name on Xisto,

no one will know if you are actually paying for your hosting then. Thats why Xisto RULEZ! :)

  7. If North Korea wants to test nuclear weopons , let them test them - without causing any harm to any other nation. Frankly I don't like the US being the global police. Why should a country ask permission from the US for their own national security? Who decide that the US should be the nuclear police?Iran is not allowed to develop nuclear technology for their own enrgy consumption. This is ridiculus considering the number of nuclear plants in the USA.And who knows , you Americans might be building a nuclear bmob yourself.

  8. Why do we even want to live forever? We are on this time to complete a given period of time.Anyways, it will be a while (couple of centuries) before cryonics for humans is available. The human body is more complex than a frogs. If the brain is starved of oxygen for than a minute, brain damage is inevitable. And you can't freeze the whole body at once, using any freezing techniques, as different parts of the body will freeze at different temperatures.

  9. lol.. hypercube.. i dont' think there are such thing. A pologon can have many sides, but no matter how you look at it, you can only see; length, width, and height. It's pretty hard to imagine a 4th physical demension since it is out our our comprehension.

And yes , the fouth dimension has to be time. For those that know about einstien's special relativity theory, time isn't constant, so we can consister it as a dimension.

Imagine if you were to live in a 1 dimension world, you might not be able to see anything (other 1 dimension creature) or move around freely, you will stuck in one place forever. In a 2 dimensional world, all you can see are lines and you can only move up, down, left, right. Those are the only direction a two dimensional creature can move. Next comes the 3 dimensional work, this time, you don't need to imagine because you could already see 3 dimensional objects now and can move freely everywhere you want.

In all 3 worlds (1, 2, and 3 dimensional worlds), you won't be able to do much since time is not one of the varible. Time describe movement of objects, since there is no time, creatures that live in a 1,2, and 3 dimensional world cannot move or possibbly exist since they cannot think or do anything.

The fourth dimension world is what we are living in right now. As i'm typing my thoughts right now, you can probably guess that i have to move my fingers inorder to type. This shows that time does exist in our world and therefore we are living in a 4 dimensional world.

LOL... i hope what i just typed is coherent.

:P I totally agree except for the time :) part.

I do Technical drawing and computers at school , 1d , 2d ,3d great , no problems, because I can visualize these.

But in computers , 4d arrays seem stupid, pointless and hard to imagine, because there is no application of it in real life.

Fourth dimension does NOT exist. Every point in space can be defined by x,y and z axis. (width , height and depth)

HG Wells' theory that the fourth dimenision is time is also crap. Why ? because you are dealing with a physical quantity , that has to be defined at THIS moment of time. By using this logic, we can exclude the possibilities (and complications) that time brings forth. We now do not have to worry about whether the object is even going to be existing in the next moment of time.

  10. I don't think that this relates to the original question. Yes if you are moving faster then you cover the same distance in less time (that's common sence after all), but the original question was about how the time you percieve is moving compared to how others percieve this. I think the explanation needs Einstein's theory of relativity instead of simple kinematics.

time / speed / distance formula has evrything to do wth this. You are percieving more detail PER unit of time. Remember that time cannot be given an actual unit. If you use seconds as an unit , there is a micro second , given a microsecond, there is a nano second, and even something smaller than a nanosecond. Thats why I
gave the example of a camera and its fps.

But then I could be wrong.

Yes you are wrong ( sorry for being blunt)

  11. Hi guys , thanks for all your help, I figured it by a simple diagram ,

I started pondering on the squares , and then I realized it was called square because of a square(shape)

its hard to explain this wihtout a diagram,

you can see this for yourself by drawing blocks of squares. You can then see the difference of squares increasing.
