Well, you can probably help with the enrolling talented people part Right now, I'm just using a phpBB board to coordinate the freelancers and projects. At this point, anything more would be excessive, as I only have a handful of freelancers onboard with me. As far as clients requesting service, I plan to actively bid on projects at places like elance, guru, and getafreelancer, mentioning that I could their work professionally for free. I wont solely rely on the html form on my website. The html form's intent is to cater to the other major market my website is targetted at: the individual without computer knowledge or without time. All of our designs will be under an open license, and we may even obtain bits of code from other open source web designs. Thanks for the recommendations!

They did that with me too, only they alerted me first. I'm up to ~2.2-2.8 mbs now.(Right now, I have Azureus running with ~30 torrents, so it's feeling very, very sluggish . At one time, when I had 50 torrents running, I clocked my rate at 33kbs!)

Hey!I'm just looking to see if any of you guys have any pointers for somebody's first Halo2 stunt video. I've already gotten most of the filming done, or at least a good part of it, and I need to find some good programs for splicing it all together. I need a program for recording video on high quality through the RCA plug on my computer and then cropping it with ease. I use Windows. I already have Zqwei-stein and that's excellent for arranging and programming and mastering etc., but my only problem is I need a program for cropping video into bite-sized clips and recording an entire VHS tape worth of my stuff.I've got some stuff planned:>I have a bizzare disappearing warthog. I shoved a whole bunch of boom-boom barrels under a warthog in zanzibar, and then lit the fuse. The warthog literally disappeared. I could not find it anywhere. I'm guessing it must have somehow landed somewhere very far away.>I also have some cool looking sword flying.>I have just some straight forward multiplayer clips.>I composed a not-too-shabby rearrangement/cover of the original halo theme which I plan to feature in parts of it. It threw in some spicy synth sounds and a new bongo beat while keeping the original integrity (sp?) of the song.>...and many more warthogs flying. ;)Any suggestions would be helpful!

When ever anything of any significance in the gaming world is scheduled, there's always so many rumors. I remember it was the same way with Halo 2. I heard from so many people that it was released in France, that their friend got it off ebay, that they'd played it etc. Of course none of them were true, but it's amazing how naive some people can be (no offense). I always distrust any rumor I hear about prereleased games. A company will NEVER prerelease a game, a movie, or a gaming system. It's just not like them. There have been leaks in the past, (e.g. Episode 2) but those got serious media attention. If I recall correctly, Doom 3's Alpha version was leaked several months before it was released. It was bouncing around p2p networks & misc. warez sites. However, things like that get media attention. You won't find a valid leak or prerelease that hasn't been splashed on the front page of every gamesource. Don't trust anything that isn't. Of course, that's just my humble opinion.

You are right in speaking of planned obsolescence in software. However, you seem to have your terms (and grammar) a bit mixed up. I believe you meant to say that cellphone manufacturers intentionally embed defects into their products. Embedding viruses would make very little sense. Many software companies also purposely scale back on the debugging process so as to gain more revenue from support and technical assistance. That's just another reason why OSS is so great!
