Who the hell cares what the service is actually about? All that's important is the Aqua Teen Hunger Force Episode titled Boost Mobile. That was funny.

I think the main issue with the XBox 360s is user stupidity. Neither me nor any of my friends have been affected by the 'issues' with the 360s. I have read that alot of people are have problems but I think the problems are isolated. The reason the stories are everywhere is due to excessive media attention. Besides, if a user has issues with the 360, Microsoft will pay overnight shipping to and from the repair center. I think Microsoft has done well as far as hardware goes; software (games) are a different issue.

I like jGrasp in Windows and jEdit in Linux. Both are free and easy to use. Both can be used to edit for other programming languages as well.

Make sure you have drivers for you network card. To check, right-click My Computer, left-click Properties, left-click Hardware, left-click Device Manager. If there are any devices with a yellow exclamation or yellow question mark then there is a problem and reinstalling the drivers would probably fix it. If you got a driver cd with your laptop you could use that to restore the drivers or you could always go online and download the drivers.

Your best bet to stay in a reasonable price range is SATA. It is faster that IDE and it supports faster rotation speeds. Look at the Western Digital Raptors. They connect with SATA and rotate at 10000 rpms. If you want even faster than that you should look into making a hardware RAID 0.

That will do the trick. My friend has one and he likes it alot. His HD tv is not conveniently located next to his computer so he uses this to watch recorded tv.

It is not possible to have you PS2 display on your laptop's screen through your laptop's S-Video output. As you mentioned the port is an output not an input. Your only other option is to purchase a TV tuner. You would need one that is USB based. With that you could receive video input from many sources. The only issue with that solution is that you would experience a 1-2 second lag between the time you pressed a button on your controller and the time you saw the event on your laptop's screen (that would make playing games very annoying).

Does Ms Paint In Windows Xp Sp2 Is Having A Bug? I think so

No problems here either. -
You're right ameribass. The computer has to process all video coming in. That processing causes a delay, but it allows you to pause and record TV or anyother input (ex. PS2). I have a Happauge card in my computer and there is a 1-2 second delay on my computer when comparing it to TV. It is just something you have to deal with, but, in my opinion, is worth the trouble.

A $100 laptop is great, but I think there a more important issues at hand. I think a vast majority of people that get one of the laptops will have no use for it. If these are given to anyone who has never used a computer they are pointless (I doubt there will be extensive trainings sessions on its use). Even if someone is familiar with computers, in the event that something goes wrong at all the user won't be able to troubleshoot problems. Also, the laptop will have to be sturdy enough to handle extreme conditions and for $100 that is difficult to pull off. Besides the technical difficulties other issues at hand are starvation, disease, government instablility... I think funds would be better spent by aiding countries and people by sending food, medicine, doctors, and adminstrators.

Recently, I have found Civilization 4 and FEAR to be entertaining. The Civ series has quite a legacy and Civ4 continues that. FEAR is a great FPS with exceptional graphics and a good story.

I agree. I can deal with flashy ads, but ads with sound send me over the edge.

Help Me Fix A Problem On A Laptop Runnig W98
joshua132 replied to andrescasta's topic in Hardware Workshop
Sorry you have to deal with Windows 9x...I've had that problem before and fixed it by uninstalling all network adapters in Device Manager, rebooting, and reinstalling the devices. If you continue to have problems after you do that I would try removing Client for Microsoft Networks in network protocols then reinstalling it.
