I prefer Everquest 1. Beta tested EQ2 - didn't like it at all. I mean the graphics were phenomenal .. but the game play sucked. I still prefer the original EQ.. and with the upcoming expansion.. having more fun with it. Plus with the PVP servers.. because of the server population drop - they're going to merge all 4 PVP servers.. that should be interesting.

I can see their point regarding the lockout tho. I mean just because the players are willing to take a pay cut for the next few years.. doesn't mean that once that's done .. that they're not going to be back up to 11 million again. The players are still playing for the most part.. not the NHL or anything but they're still playing.. but until the players and the NHL can sit down and figure out how they're gonna take a pay cut that won't be negated in 4 years.. what's the sense of bringing hockey back? We're going to be in the exact same boat in just a few years.. more or less a waste of time and money to get them playing now.. only to run into the same problem in a few years. Plus I don't think that the NHL has fully realized the amount of money they're gonna lose out.. and until those corporate guys notice that they have to take a pay cut.. they won't do much. I liked em all... Baldurs Gate, NWN, Diablo2.Even those that seemed somehwat primitive - they were still a blast to play. I'm a huge RPG fan tho - give me sports options - and I'll say the exact opposite.MMORPG's are better - but more involved - which in some ways is harder but more enjoyable I find. Played Fable - beat the game in 1 weekend - but by that I mean I progressed thru each task and beat each mob. The ending was a let down and some of the mobs were just sad. I mean.. when my husband played it - he got to the mob with the life tap - and was stuck - he couldn't beat the mob - couldn't do anything else - and chopped the whole thing up to a waste of money. The only bonus - was we didn't pay for it. A friend of ours leant it to us - because he got it for free with his clear limited edition xbox console. Durham LeafsHalo 2 Clan

I don't think gaming is a waste of time - but it can get in the way sometimes. I have no problems with sitting down in the evenings and playing for a while - or when my husband plays at night with his buddies on XBox Live. But it's never interferred with his life.I have however seen people that have become addicted to gaming - D&D was the sore spot for my brother.. I've seen others give up everything for Everquest - that's just rediculous. I think gaming is fine - in moderation. But that's just me. Durham LeafsHalo 2 Clan

I played FFX for PS2 - awesome game. I loved the graphics on it.. was kinda like watching an animated movie.The storyline got a bit long at parts - but other than that the actual game was amazing. I haven't played FFXI yet .. don't have my PS2 anymore.. and don't wanna have to buy the harddrive it requires.. But I agree - they did a great job with that game series. Durham LeafsHalo 2 Clan

I would have to agree. Halo 2 is an awesome game. I think this is the best game of it's type out right now. I'm not into gaming console's much.. but this game has me hooked. I love the campaign.. the online play.. cooperative modes.. LAN setup.. it's all awesome. I'd give it a 10 out of 10. Durham LeafsHalo 2 Clan

Halo 2 is a great game!We have "Xbox - Halo" day every saturday - and the place is packed. Try putting 4 xbox's on a home LAN with 8-10 people playing all at once. Halo 2 just makes it that much better!I wouldn't say anything negative about the game. Love it!Durham LeafsHalo 2 Clan

I would say Halo 2 myself. Played many others.. including fable.. was disappointed in the ending.. game got kinda dumb.. didn't take long to beat.My question is.. how many people do you think could beat Halo 2 Campaign on Legendary Mode in 10 hours or less?
