  1. Well, After putting my all into posts around here, and trying my best to come up with some very lengthy responses to numerous topics, it still wasn't good enough to get a hosting approval. I'm just going to buy some space somewhere, this just isn't worth it. It's been fun. Thanks for everybody's friendship. I'll catch ya' out there, somewhere...

  2. Way cool, I signed up, thanks so much, it'll be nice not to have to copy copy copy to my flash drive!

Okay, I got approval and set up a few of my most used spreadsheets.

I wonder what the final product is going to be like, the current version will do what I want it to, but it does leave a lot of room for fixes, and enhancements. I have no doubt that Google will end up with a phenomenal product. Thanks again for the link.

  3. lol that movie! i wanted to see it but i totally forgot about that movie...... i should download it.. is it funny?

I guess there are a few funny parts, but all-in-all, it was kinda gross, and stupid (but that's just my opinion.) I liked the Columbine one better. Oh and if ya see the 9/11 one, ya' gotta see FahrenHYPE 9/11 too, it totally proves that old fat, what's his name, wouldn't know a real fact if it jump up and bit him where the sun don't shine (at least I HOPE it don't shine there!)

  4. yes yes i know that the cat story isn't original, i just thought it would be good for a few laughs, and if you take out the cat and just use 2 pieces of bread, there wouldn't really be a whole lot of fun in it now would there? can you honestly say you would sit and watch 2 pieces of bread spin around in the air together? but add a cat in there, pop up some popcorn, and thats entertainment
also, wolves i think that would be a great idea

How about using two cats, duct taped back to back?!? Now that would be something to watch! Hey! I've got two cats! "Here *****, *****, *****, come to Daddy!" ROFL -- Naaa, better not, my wife would kill me, and I live in SoCal so I might start a new fad, kinda like freeway windshield shootings! D'oH!

  5. I think Triangle was a series. Anyway, that's why I don't watch Series any more, at least on TV, because I miss a episode and I'm wondering what happened to half the people in the cast.

Good point, I've been sticking to watching Series stuff on DVD's ~ Maybe ya' gotta wait a while to get them, but... No commercials, no missing an episode, no having to watch an entire episode if ya' don't have the time, and I can turn the TV down and read the captions when the kids are in bed! LOL

  6. BLASPHEMY! Rammstein isn't the nastiest Heavy Metal! It's one of the best metal bands out there! >_< You make hulk angry! Ich Will Fuer Frie! lol

Ahhh, but you took the word "Nasty" to be a bad thing, when in fact I intended to reflect that they are the bomb! I have the video of Fuer Frie and was jazzed to see it at the beginning of the movie "The Fast and the Furious!" Just too cool...

  7. Hmmmm, I'm not quite sure how you can port the YouTube update process to your Web site, but it seems like you have a lot of videos there, so if you don't mind, I'd like to ask a question about a problem I'm having with YouTube....

I use to be able to view their videos there just fine, but now I'm getting the message that says...

Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Click here to get the latest flash player

I do have the latest Flash Player installed, or so the Adobe Web site tells me I do. I've even uninstalled it and reinstalled it. Same results at YouTube. My Flash Player works fine at other sites too, just not YouTube, and I think it doesn't work at another video site too (Sharkle if I'm not mistaken)

Do you have any clues as to what could be wrong?

Thanks for any insight. Sorry to trample on your thread.

  8. Hi Posted Image Haven't run across you before.

Now this sounds like a good idea. If only mother nature would co-operate, which she probably will eventually. One problem I see is it would pollute the Rio Grand and the environmentalists would have a field day with that one. As well the animal rights activists would be defending the alligators. But it is a cool idea anyway CaptainJerry.

I agree with matto on the 2 pieces of toast. That would save the poor cat from harm.

May I ask what's the significance of "Captain" ?

Hi Mich... I'm new! Yeaaayyyyy (but not new to Groups by any means, I've run several MSN Groups, and Manage somewhere around 7 Tech Support boards around the Internet!)

Here's the story of my "Captain" prefix...

    Thanks for asking :-)

  9. Believe it or not, Folsom, California. I lived there for a while (No, NOT in the prison! but very close to it!) and one year, it hit OVER 120? F for two weeks straight, every day! Burned out my air conditioner, and had a very pregnant wife, all at the same time. Dang, I'll never forget that year.Oh, and I've been to Las Vegas which is very hot, and Death Valley, both which may get hotter then Folsom, but I didn't have to live there, so it couldn't have been that bad! LOL //Captain.Jerry/

  10. "The Pleasure Principal" by Lesbians On Ecstasy

    what do I know? LOL

Marilyn Manson - The Beautiful People

Yeah thats right, I'm listening to Marilyn Manson. The man who many call a freak and wish for him to die. But hey, he's got a few good songs.

I met Marilyn Manson once, he's actually a pretty cool guy, very level head, not very "down to Earth" but that's what makes him cool! I love his version of "Tainted Love" (someone had to fix that song!)

  11. Hey! Welcome to the forums Captain .Wow! you must be pretty good in programming to secure a job like that!

Anyways, enjoy your stay at Xisto and have fun

    =Paul

    Thanks Paul,

I guess I'm just like any other programmer. Sometimes I think I'm the cat's meow, and just the best there is, and then I run into a little logic problem that takes me forever to solve, and I'm convinced that I'm dumb as a doornail ~ LOL ~ (??? Just how dumb ARE doornails anyway?)

  12. Okay, here's an idea....1) The United States digs a moat along the Southern States, the length of Mexico.2) We take all of the dirt, and build up the levees around New Orleans, really high.3) We wait for hurricane season to fill the moat with rainwater.4) We take all of the Florida alligators, and put 'em IN the moat! Now how many problems would that solve?LOL//Captain.Jerry/

  13. actually i think both are equally good.. you can order chicken in mcD and also burgers in KFC. but i like chicken more, so i go for KFC

I agree that I think they are both equally good, but being opposite, I've never been a wild fan of chicken, so I'd have to say, given the choice, I'd go to McDonald's before KFC (Plus I use to be a Swing Shift Manager for a McDonald's, so I know first hand that all of the rumors of weird ingredients, and shoddy processing methods is all bunk!)

  14. I guess I mainly Google for Images. I'm a member of several Groups, and I like to include pictures of the post's topic, anywhere from a Happy Birthday wish, to Automobiles, to Music Groups...And my children think it's cool how you can find out what things look like. The last set of inquiries that my kids wanted me to do was on "King Kong," "Spiderman," "Spotted Sharks," and my son wanted to know what a real Seahorse looked like! LOL//Captain.Jerry/

  15. I've only seen a few episodes of Kingdom Hospital, but not enough to say that I've really "seen it", but I would like to see the series. I tend to keep away from Series, because I'm not the type of person who likes to wait 24 hours to see the next episode.

LOL... Dang, I'm like that with LOST now! They've had so many repeats. But mini-series are okay, 'cuz ya' know that there will be an end to them, at some point. I may get into watching "Surface" but I dunno... Was "The Triangle" a series thing, or a movie? I'd kinda like to see that too...

  16. I also love Horror movies, and I don't mind the sex scenes. Some of my favorite recent horror movies are "Ghost Ship," all of the "Final Destination" movies, Saw, and probably Saw II when I see it! I can't remember the last corny horror movie that I've seen (maybe Silver Bullet) but I'm sure I've seen tons! Did anybody like the Mini-Series "Kingdom Hospital?" ~ My bride and I loved it ~ I bought the series on DVD!//Captain.Jerry/

  17. I got Gmail quite a while back from a friend in Canada. Never herd of the service before that. Now I use Gmail exclusively (except for having to use my work email for work junk) But it didn't take me long to dump my ISP's eMail and Outlook Express! I even use Google's new Calendar, and I'm looking for their Spreadsheet Program, but can't seem to locate it. Does anyone have a link?//Captain.Jerry/
