I use various programs for scripting and creating images for a website. I've used notepad for many years and I also use webcoder 5. I use Photoshop CS, Paintshop Pro 7 and MS Paint for graphics. I thought of getting a flash program at one point in time, but realized that a lot of people can't even see flash. I dropped that idea... I would suppose that it depends on your taste in programs as to what you use. Lots of people just don't want to use PSCS or PS7 simple because they are somewhat complicated programs for some. I still use MS Paint a lot of the time. It helps when you need to do simple pixel work and you don't need all the bulk that comes with PS7 or PSCS... Not to mention it doesn't take as long to load...lol

I've personally never cared for anyone who acts like they are something they are not. But in anycase, if I heard either a black person or a white person say the dreaded N* word. I would b!7(h slap them both hard enough for them to not be able to see straight for weeks. I despise that or any other racial slur. It's far from appropriate any more, even for a black person.

I can't understand the reasoning behind having 100+GB hardrive. Do you even use a quarter of that amount of space? My HD is a 40 Gig and I'm quite content with that much. I don't even use a quarter of it's full capacity, so I don't understand the need for more than that.

Video Games Are A Complete Waste Of Time, Face It!
CyberSprite replied to rovertos's topic in The Vent
Videogames are, in my opinion, a very fun way to entertain yourself for a few hours. I read quite a few books as well, as it expands your imagination much further than any game would. But I still enjoy the pleasure you get from shooting a character in a game. As someone pointed out, it's also a nice way to relieve day-to-day stress without actually blowing up at somebody. I do not believe violence, in any entertainment branch (i.e. movies, television, and/or games) will effect anyones behavior. The people who do become violent aren't swayed by what they see/hear on television or a game. They are this way, as far as anyone can see, from their life experiance. It wouldn't be accurate and/or fair to blame the incident at Columbine to a game or anything on television. People are dangerous in general and have a breaking point. Once that point is reached they are VERY unstable. This can happen to anyone, even the brightest and most, seemingly, kind of us. As for videogames educational value. I would have to say that it depends on your perspective and imagination. Even Halo can be educational to a degree if you look at it from a certain perspective. Most people do not, but it is still an educational tool. I do agree, however, that spending all of your time playing videogames is a complete waste of your life. There are better things you could be doing. But, if you feel you have nothing better to do, than by all means, play to your little-hearts-content. It's your life and you have the right to make that choice yourself. But every choice has it's consequences and you'd better be prepared to accept them, because you don't get a choice in that matter. BTW: Chess is not a boring game, it is one of the more educational, and in my opinion fun, games to-date. -
"The definition of free webhosting..." I like this one because it makes it sound as though this IS THE BEST FREE HOST. Which, in all honesty, is an accurate assessment of this host.

The Best Browser In Your Opinion for WIN32/64 systems
CyberSprite replied to jacob's topic in Software
I used to use IE, then MyIE2. But after having so many difficulties with both of those browsers I finally switched to Mozilla FireFox 1.0. I love this browser! It has lots of cool extensions that allow for a wide variety of features... I don't think I will every switch to another browser -
Do U Think Firefox Loads Pic Slower ? lets vote on this
CyberSprite replied to ashiezai's topic in General Discussion
I think that FireFox loads pics/graphics based on your connection speed. Just like with any other browser. I've never noticed any graphics loading slower than they would have in IE and I like FireFox a lot more, so even if they did I would still use FireFox over IE simple because it's more secure and has more features available for it than IE. I guess it would depend on when I go to bed and how tired I am when I do. On the most part I at least get 4 hours of sleep. But I tend to try and get 8 to 10 hours of sleep, simply because after a while my body just screams at me to get a decent amount of rest. Even though it doesn't always work out that way, because of insomnia. Not to mention I've always been a "Night Owl." So, I tend to be wide awake at 2 or 4 in the morning. Later, -- J.

Hey all, I'm sure at least some of you will remember me. I used to go by ToxiqueSprite and then changed it to Omenessence. Well, as you can clearly see, it's now CyberSprite. I think it works better for me anyhow. After fiddling around with my website on my computer, I've decided that having at least a little webspace to test this out on is probably better than blindly posting it all to a site and hope it works. This way I can work out all the bugs and stuff. BTW, Admin, I <- snipped -> around the forums at least once a day. I hope that more members are at least clicking on an ad somewhere on the site to help keep this place up and running. This is THE best free hosting online. I know, because I have searched and signed up with many free hosts and no one even comes close to the features and support available here. It would be a great loss to everyone if this site had to shutdown. Later all, - J.}
