  1. Okay, heres a quick way to fix this problem. Assuming that photoshop is already running; 1.At the Top MENU BAR, click WINDOW> CHARACTER This should open the Character and Paragraph Option window (if it's not already up, then...) 2.There's a small little arrow (>) right under the Close window button [X]. This is the pallet options. Scroll down to the bottom of the list and click 'Reset Character.' 3. Just to be sure...Click the PARAGRAPH tab on the same window, click the options arrow (like the previous step) and 'Reset Paragraph.' This will make the fonts behave itself.
