  1. :):PDear all bros and Sis,

I have some question that need all of your helps, I am very appreciated if all of you could share your ideas regarding this issue:

i have already had a domain name, and have it host with other company, but want to host it with my home computer with the ADSL 256/512Kbps internet connection.

I computer is behind the 4 ports ADSL modem with built-in router. I have already setup the web server on my computer.

but i dono what to do next to let people over the world access to my domain that is hosted on my own computer.

My ADSL internet connection use a static IP address.

Would everybody mind telling me on how to Set up it correctly and to make it accessible to the world?

    Your helps are really appreciated!!!

    Thanks forward, :D

  2. There is no need for portforwarding since an ADSL modem is a Point to Point connection.

1 PC (or router) connected to the modem.

If you have a public adress then the adress on the site https://www.whatismyip.com/ is the same as your computer, then you don't need portforwarding.

The only blocking point can be a firewall installed on your PC.

However, my ADSL is not a point to point connection. As it is built-in 4 ports ROUTER too

Then I have found that in ther ADSL modem there is a Vitual Server page. I hope this is helpful

if you don´t saw anything about port forward, check for DMZ servers or virtual servers... in some routers only these options are available and they are same as "port forwarding"....

  3. Dear all brothers and sisters, :D:):P

I am now looking for help on How to point traffics to a computer behind the Prolink ADSL modem

I know that for traffick sending to computer behind router, we use the Port Forwarding!

However, i didn't see any Port Forwarding Section in my ADSL modem.

Could Anyone could help me with this question?

    Thanks forwards,

    Best regards, :D
