it may come to that pc's are cheaper than consoles. and most defienitely faster. you can get a decent sempron cpu as low as 50$ or intel's pentium/celeron equivalent, galaxy 7300gt ddr3 is like 70-80$ low, and memory 1gb like 50$, hard drives, psu, and you can have a fast pc for as low as 300-400$, which will likely be better than wii or even xbox 360 (if you overclock your machine). i know that it isn't the same, playing on pc's is quite different than playing on a console, but some games like fps are defienitely more enjoyable. and when you play you can download movies, music, other games, your two thread cpu would never get borred. Also Intel will come with conroe which will be even better (up to 30% faster than x2, and up to 100% faster than pentium d). Nvidia will come with new gpu's. All this will make gaming on pc more enjoyable. For quite a long time Sony tries to make PS a computer, but the difference beetween PC and PS is easily seable. PS3 may push the limits, but it won't have even directx 10, so bye bye sony. Every playstation had something new to offer, psone had cd rom capability and was offering 3d graphics, pstwo had dvd movie player. But what has to offer ps3? Blu-ray? Online gaming? I'm not quite sure it's gonna make the pressure from M$ x360 dubbled by Ninny's Wii. So maybe pc's gonna take the 1st place in gaming world? Vista is so user friendly that it's gonna take seconds to play your favorite game. It also will allow to play with friends on xbox360. I think that m$ may win the battle in the long run. And irronicaly xbox360 may boost pc's (and vista, the upcoming m$ operating system). the only factor that makes console gaming so easy is their cost and simplicity. But PC's can be a lot more fun to play (for example in first person shooter). Myself i find that oblivion is more enjoyable on pc than xbox360, also there are many exclusive pc games, like half-life: episode one. There are drawbacks of pc gaming: the cost of a computer. But when you build the pc from the parts yourself, it ain't so expensive, also the prices are going down all the time, you can go low-end and sell the parts once a year, you will lose maybe 20% of their price. Keep in mind that games on the pc are cheaper than on consoles (even more cheaper when compared with bluray games for the upcoming ps3).to sum it up: i think that pc will win the battle with it's upcoming interoperatobality with xbox360 and windows vista (with it's groundbraking directx 10), it will definiately rock the gaming world!(sorry for the bad spelling, i'm from poland )

The Pentium D 960 is priced at $564, the Intel Itanium 2 which is the best Server Processor in the world right now does not list a price because it is very expensive.
But AMD does not make server processors.

The story focuses on Tommy, a garage mechanic living on a Native American reservation in Oklahoma. At the beginning of the game, Tommy is in a bar owned by his girlfriend, Jen. After an unfortunate bar fight, the bar is lifted up by a gravitational force, as various items are sucked from their stationary positions into a green light above. Tommy, Jen and his grandfather are transported into shuttlecraft to be transported back to the sphere. After docking, all three, along with countless other captives, are dragged through the upper levels of the sphere and Tommy is freed in an explosion set off by a stranger who, despite being cybernetic like most of the sphere's denizens, appears to be working against it rather than for it.

My opinion:

The demo offers one hour off excellent imho gameplay. The story is quite interesting and psychedelic. You see the action like in Half-Life or Riddick, ie. there's no animated cut-scenes. There's multi also, but the game is best when played in single.

Even with the possible solutions given by harad, the exact source codes may not be directly exposed. Using a hex-editor to view a exe file simply gives you weird codes which no one can understand and recognise except a computer. Using a disassembler can be possible however it depends on what programing language the exe file was programmed. Unfortunately if it is a .NET application, like VB.NET or J#.NET, you will most likely not be able to get back your source because the .NET engine is made to compile source codes which cannot be reverse engineered. If may still work for old programming languages.

well that's not enterily true, to some extend it is possible to decompile/dissassemble .NET applications using IL Dissasembler and some other tools (http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/).

I suppose it would be easier to decompile .NET applications than normal C++/C, because it doesn't encorporate it's runtime with exe's. I'm not a programmer, so i may be wrong.

Well I can just say that christianity at it's base is really the same as Islam or other religions. But you cannot forget those problems that christianity has faced over the years. The problem is that people don't read Bible, don't go to church, don't respect Ten Commandments, don't live in Marriage, etc., but they say that they belive in Jesus. Jesus said that we should christianize people and make charity all over the world, but people don't listen to words of wisdom anymore.

If you want to go for something really depressing and sad: go for doom metal, for example bands like: Katatonia, Anathema, My Dying Bridge, Paradise Lost or Winter. And it's no use to list depressing doom metal songs, because all of them are depressing. :angry:For those who like the most extreme, slow, depressing there's even a smaller music genre called Funeral Doom with BPM rating 60 or even lower. I find it funny that nobody says that PSX is the best or N64 or SNES. Those NxG consoles offer only better graphics not better gaming. Also jRPG fans (like me) have a hard time finding games to play these days (so they play 'nostalgia' games over and over ).
