I noticed that there is no data on http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

I have had htaccess redirect 301 files on Xisto - Web Hosting server to point it to http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

Some time in the past happened that this redirection is not functional anymore and also I can't get logged onto my server.

My email robertv@najdi.si was deleted, which I used for Xisto - Web Hosting.com registration, due to changing from free email service to paid email service, so I can't get nor my new password nor information about server changes that happened on Xisto - Web Hosting.com.

My username is rvovk3d.

Help from admins on Xisto - Web Hosting would be welcomed.

Hi, I wanted to make some measurment that would eliminate my connection (Slovenia --> USA) so I decided to measure download speeds with DU Meter. I figure out some interesting values. See examples: -speed of Xisto - Web Hosting -speed of rvovk subdomain @ Xisto - Web Hosting where first part of graph is speed of Xisto - Web Hosting and second is subdomain (rvovk) Interesting that peak of your host is max speed of my ADSL and peak of subdomain is ten times (or more) lower. I payed 100$ for 3 years at Xisto - Web Hosting. Hopefully you will find speed solution for my hosting solution at Xisto - Web Hosting. Regards, Robert

Hello, I guess ping hasn't lot effect on a speed of your hosting. Today I was talking with some experts who work for some communication companies and ISPs that problem can be in overbooking (maybe making priorirty or QoS for important clients). Your hosting become very slow in morning and noon - afternoon @ your local time. At the moment download speed of your host is 6kB/s (see printscreen at). About glassy effect. I only used opacity on that menu, that all. It is not some high tech action in photoshop. I like to use simple thing instead.

Yes, I would say welcome to the jungle. My guestbook hasn't been spammed since I installed image verfication system. (it has to be random). Forum spam can be stopped by mail verfication and image verification combination.Btw, Mama Soap, how is your new guestbook coming? Any success?

Guestbook spam has become more and more evident in this times. Looks like some others want ot have free advertisment at your page. It is always about viagra and some other pharmacy things. Why? I don't have a clue. But I have a solution for this problem. It is called CAPTCHA. It is system that proviedes protection against spam, some pattern of numbers and letters must be entered before hitting submit button or else input will not be submitted. Try looking for this at Google, or try this guestbook with captcha system. Guestbook script is here.

I guess new server has also new IP. If you are able to get data out of that server, then a problem could be solved. But if you use MySQL then I am not really sure what do to. I was looking strange when I looked at data files and then compare it to what I see on HTTP. But actually I as connecting to old IP and HTTP was showing new (2days old) data.

By the way, your counter went from 18025 to 18077 from my first reply to this reply. Are you sure it's not working? Or is the counter off by certain number?

I have checked on 4 computers, cleared all cache. I added some new pic yesterday: From server shift on one computer I don't see new picture, counter is delayed for a day. On other one I see new picture with counter kinda up-to-date, but not showing new visitors.I am asking for pointers what do do now? But Buffalo you kinda didn't read that paragraph. It isn't threat, but complain. I hope you understand it, that I am not willing to change every code I have made.

After server shifting I noticed that my script for visitor counting isn't working correctly. What did you guys from Xisto do anyway. Don't wanna offence anyone, but this is second time this thing happened (once on Xisto - Web Hosting with email sender) and now here on Xisto.
I need some pointers what to do now, cause this is not good. I am paying for both servers and have strated considering shifting to different host.
