alizasa replied to snowlion's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I have been using a dos window with put and get. it is free and does the job. when it was free i used cuteftp because it was visual, but that was when it was free becuase of the ads. -

Did you go to http://php.net/? There are many on-line tutorials. I used a book core php by eaon atkinson it is the 2 addition. it is old (2001). it is about php4 but it gives basic examples and then i go to the site above for any discrepancies.

http://php.net/ is the source for all php. look up mail. there are also comments underneath it which delineate restrictions for different operating systems.

cuteftp you have to pay for. there are others like smartftp (which you can get from http://download.cnet.com/windows/) which are free. There is also LeechFTP (freeware, no longer developed)LeapFTP (shareware)Freezilla - which is open source. you can probably get all of them at download.com
