  1. Well, I think's it's not that bad. It's pretty good (read, very very good) compared to me. Maybe you could tell us how long you're making signatures now then it would be a bit easier for us to rate it. If this works belongs to someone who just started a few weeks with Photoshop I think it's excellent, however if you are more expierenced I still think it's pretty good but of course it would take more then to convince me that I have to give this a good rating.

Here are some points of critic:

    - Add a border! I doesn't have to be a large one, just a one pixel black border to make it show off just that little bit more. In Photoshop: just go to blending options -> select stroke and use a 1px black border.

    - Decrease the opacity of the site thingies and make sure they're place right.

    - Place your name a bit more to the left, it fits better there in my opinion.

    - Make the render come out a bit more.

I hope you take my suggestions count. Good luck! Keep up the good work!

BTW: I didn't rate it because like I said I don't know how long you're doing this.

  2. Dear Ibsed,

First of all: why you need a free host if you already found an awesome one :) . Second of all I wanna warn you all: this hosting site isn't as free as they pretend. They give you three choices: Payed hosting for over 6 euro's a months. Free Subdomain hosting and "free" domain hosting. But when you click on the free subdomain hosting it says that it is "temporarily disabled" and you can only choose for the domain hosting, and if you do so you have to register a domain by them, you can't even use your own domain.

Final note: they aren't quite as good as Xisto or Xisto. They offer the same bandwidth, but less webspace, only 1 (!) MySQL database and I heard lots of people saying that their servers aren't even nearly as reliable as they pretend. I say: stick where you are and don't get screwed.

    Regards,

    Warbird.

  3. I assume you use the PHP function mail(); ??? Your mail will probably end up in the BULK/SPAM folder since it doesn't say who send it. You just used this, didn't you?:

    $to = "someone@somewhere.net";$subject = "something";$message = "Dear someone, this is a test of my mail script. Blablabla, blablabla.";mail($to, $subject, $message)

You should add this header so the spamfilter sees who send it:

    $header = "From: webmaster@" . $_SERVER['SERVER_NAME'] . "\r\n";

    So you got this:

    $to = "someone@somewhere.net";$subject = "something";$message = "Dear someone, this is a test of my mail script. Blablabla, blablabla.";$header = "From: webmaster@" . $_SERVER['SERVER_NAME'] . "\r\n";mail($to, $subject, $message, $header)

Hope this helps. Otherwise you just have to say to your friends that they have to whitelist your domain.

    Regards,
    Warbird.

  4. I got Photoshop CS 2 for just a few days now. I think it's realy cool if you know how to use it but I'm not very skilled in it. I'm reading some tutorials here and on Xisto.com now to improve my skills so I can become better like saint-michael for example B) I heard he started designing 10 months ago, so in about 30 years maybe I'll be as good as he is now B) Anyway, here are my first two sigs. They aren't very good, but like I said they are my first so please don't be too rude.

  5. Hi all, greetings from Haarlem, Holland.I'm new here at Xisto and I just wanted to say hello. I found this site via Xisto.com where I'm active for about 6-7 months now. People who hang around at Xisto probably know me. Anyway, I'm not sure if I'm going for my hosting here since I'm already a hosted member at Xisto but if I need quality hosting I know I always can come here B) .-=jeroen=-

  6. If you want to make a simple game like space invaders without learning much about programming you can use GameMaker. It's a program to make basic games. You can also make more complicated games with it, even 3D, but then you need to learn GML (GameMaker Language).

You can download the newest version of GM here:

    Or a older version:

    For learning something about it:

    GM homepage:

I hope i helped you with this.
