  1. I like co.cc, it's the best free domain I've ever used. It's nice, short, and has full of functions. Recommended!

Not sure why this thread was revived, but the only problem I have found with co.cc is when I tried to configure it on a forum, the URL did not adjust when I went between topics and forums, it just stayed as MYDOMAIN.co.cc. Nonetheless, it's still a great free domain.

  2. As long as it is still available and stays freeware, there will always be someone on the internet to use it.
But there is a lot of competition still out there, and they will give Yahoo business...

I still use Yahool Mail and I am still linked to my geocities... even though I really don't do too much with it. And I use the search engine if I am not getting what I need from Google.

I have been switching back and forth between Gmail and Yahoo Mail, and I tend to like Gmail better. I have also noticed a lot of people find the same thing, as I am seeing more Gmail accounts lately. It's almost as if Google has superior software, which is probably true in a lot of aspects. Again, it depends on the user.

  3. There were problems with it overheating, crashing in hot countries but it's been fixed for almost a year at least.

What about the new Macbooks? I still am hearing the fan is constantly on, but it's not overheating or everything, it's just very hot. I have complete confidence that the Macbook will not overheat, but it's just the fact of that annoying fan always on.

  4. same as Apple pencil? which would be expensive, but would work/write the same as an ordinary pencil for 1$?
I don't see the point of why it is under-rated? your example shows that it is over-rated, because it/google can create **** products and mark them as google and it will be a "Good" product, because google made it?

When who ever said over-rated in the first place, I thought the meant Google as a search engine and the company itself, meaning that you could use any search engine get the same results and it would be extremely similar, in that case Google is under-rated. Google as a company is not necessarily over rated as much as just plain popular. I agree if there was an Apple pencil it would be the same scenario. It depends how you look at it, and who are you talking to about the fact of the matter.

  5. My tip is just to get a Mac! I realize there are viruses and malicious programs to specifically target Macs, but I guarantee there are MUCH less viruses for Macs than PCs! Honestly, if you want to run Windows programs, just use a Windows emulator. So you don't have to keep restarting your computer to switch between Mac OS and Windows OS, just get Parallels so the Windows Operating System is in a separate window. I don't think it can get any better than this; one of the reasons I am going to get a mac

  6. I am thinking of getting a Macbook Pro very soon, but I have heard some bad things about the fan constantly being on and the bottom being extremely hot. Does anyone out there have a macbook pro or even Macbook and have experienced this? I have an HP Pavillion laptop and the fan rarely goes on, and when it does, it is extremely soft (something else I've heard is the fan on Macbooks is a tad loud). Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide...

  7. Not sure why this thread was given a little bump, but AVG is what I've been using. I still haven't gotten infected and it's been a while! If you are going for Freeware, AVG is the anti-virus program you want. I find it better than a lot of paid anti virus software. It would be a shame if all of AVG requires a payment; I'm pretty sure if you want the premium version it costs you.

  8. Google is not at all over-rated, but under-rated by some people. The power Google has to truly do anything it wants to is amazing. Unlike Microsoft, it could go into any field and sell anything it wishes to. Microsoft is strictly computer related products, where Google is just known as a search engine. For all we know, they could release a Google Pencil tomorrow and I guarantee it will sell just because of the Google logo on it.

  9. Windows 7 is meant to be a dumbed down version of windows vista. The goal of Microsoft is to go back to an Operating System that is easy to use, easy to get onto (like Windows 98, hence the name Windows 7). I believe they will be taking all of the features of Windows Vista and making the Operating System easy to access like Windows 98 was. I honestly think this is a great update to the windows operating systems as Vista had some great concepts that could be very helpful to the average person. The main problem was the different bugs in the operating system as well as still not all programs have switched over to Vista (which should have happened... It obviously did not due to the amount of people hating Vista, including myself).

  10. Oh of course Kaspersky... Norton takes up too much resources as most of you all know, and Kaspersky is known to stop more viruses and malicious software on your computer than Norton. There is also the online scanner that Kaspersky has which is probably the most genius thing online wise I've seen thus far. Hopefully Kaspersky keeps releasing better programs against malicious software. It would be a shame for them to stop!

  11. Yahoo is already so far in the hole as it is, I don't see why it still exists. Obviously the search engine part is an added bonus, but it is quite obvious Google is the winner in the search engine category. I mean, come on, who doesn't like Google? Soon enough it's going to be making TVs, music players, and computers. It sounds a little ridiculous, but it could make most of the products we use every day. It's not Yahoo's fault or anything, Google is just REALLY dominant. I don't think anything will change that as of now. The G1 is something that convinced me Google is able to do anything. The only thing Google needs is its own phone company or service. Discuss what you think :rolleyes:P.S. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, please move this to Google if appropriate.

  12. Watch out when using Google Chrome. I am sure you all know that the beta still has the bug of automatically downloading objects you click on. I discontinued use of the Google Chrome browser as soon as I found out about this bug. I am back to using Firefox which I am even unhappy with due to the fact that it takes up too much memory. Hopefully in version 3.1 the problems pertaining to memory will be fixed, or so Mozilla says. Thanks for the useful information, I will make sure to install anti-virus software on my Macbook!

  13. I don't advice anyone to add this before an admin/moderator or a trusted one with java knowledge tells us its safe. There has been several attempts before by people posting codes that end up benefiting the poster at the expense of people who used it.

I completely agree. And looking at the user name of the original poster, they don't look entirely credible.

If this is legitimate, then it's a great thing to have

    Please be legit!

  14. I am having difficulty creating a free hosting billing/support account. When I go to the Xisto register form website and submit all of my info, it processes a few steps, then says username and password are invalid. Can someone please assist me? Thanks.Edit: I also have an active account at the Xisto - Support client center or what ever that may be. I am just unsure of what to do to activate my account.
