BZFlag, although designed for multiplayer, is a very powerful tank simulation capture-the-flag game. There's probably a mod somewhere for artificial intelligence bots. it has a good dedicated file editor and is really easy to use.

Also you can try the Halo Custom Edition and Map editor for HALO PC. Ive never gotten it to work before though and Halo 1 is more than a little outdated.

The Retribution Engine on Sourceforge.net is an open-source FPS platform that works decently. Its very UT2004 like, but it works pretty well if you put the time into it. Theres also BZFlag, but i haven't used it. I think I'll download it now and try it. You can use Blender and a lot of other 3d modelers for Retribution, making it very easy to design levels for it.

I have successfully done this its not too hard.- Get SLAX 3 USB from the SLAX website- Install SLAX 3 USB on your jumpdrive (see the instructions that came with the zip file)- go to the modules or root directory and clear it out (there are lzm files in it)- put the BT3 modules in there and reboot* I don't remember if BT3 uses a different (not lzm) format, you may have to use one of the converters in the tools directoryFor complete simplicity, you may just want to use DAVIX. It has a lot of the same features and is really easy to use if you like graphics instead of text. Its meant more for visualization, but still a good pentest distro.

A proxy reroutes your traffic through a tunnel so that the firewall cannot see your traffic. Almost any proxy will work through most firewalls, but the best kind is a SOCKS version 5 proxy. I don't know if this is what you're looking for but here goes: 1. download PuTTY 2. Run it and on the left side there will be a list. go to connection, ssh, tunnels 3. Set up dynamic port forwarding and connect to the ssh server 4. Then in your database program you need to forward from go to proxy options and go localhost for host and the port number you set up in putty for the port.
