Firefox 3 is really good. And the new Google Chrome is good. Its hard to tell which is better speed wise between Firefox 3 & Google Chrome. -
I would reccomend Kaspersky but its up to you.

Nice Guide. I use Adobe Fireworks CS3. Its similar to Photoshop (Same Company) but has less features.
