well, i honestly dont know if i believe or not, i dont think i ever will.For one, there are so many religions, with so many differant stories, its impossible to know, it ties in with questions like "Did Jesus exist?".Then i just think, im enjoying my life, i dont want to think about it.If there isnt an afterlife, there isnt an afterlife, i wont be thinking "oh damn, it doesnt exist" will i?If there is an afterlife, then great.Then i think "Where did this existance come from? what caused the big bang? how is nature so complex? these things make me think that there has to be a higher being, someone controling this.Overall, i realy do not know, for all i know, the universe could be some kid in another dimention's experiment gone to far, its just to much to think about and worry about

Either you work for the company or have realy fallen for this.At the end of the day, it is FAR easier to just buy an xbox, save up your money, do afew jobs, bargain with parents ect, besides, christmas is coming, right?by the time your done, yes you may have a free xbox, but for all the money they now have from you (we are talking $1000's here) is an xbox enough?

i like it, there is just one thing, sometimes a server can go wrong with files, it doesnt happen very often, but can happen, now if for some reason it cannot find protect.php it will just display an error and execute the rest.require() instead of includes() is probably better used here, so that the script will stop if it cannot find protect.phpbut other than that, i think your tutorial is excellent, by far better than some i have seen, 10/10 for explanation and clarity

I had this problem to at one point, what i did was search Google for "Open-Source" games, these are games in which you can download all of the coding and see how it all works, this helps

Java, i dont know a thing about, only that it and javascript aint the same thing (this confused me to insanity when i thought they were the same thing XD)If you are making, as you say, a racing game which is web-based, be prepared to pay for either Flash or Java. With client-based games (games that you download) it becomes slightly easier, there are programs out there to help you, including gamemaker (gamemaker.nl) and im sure there will be many more.So yeah, one tip: before you start, plan and sort any potential problems, otherwise you will run into major problems, sometimes even need to use another language which makes what you did faitly pointless....Once you start, you will find that most programming languages are similer and will pick them up in no time, or at least thats what i found happens~Network

hi guys, im in the process of coding a game, and i have abit of a problemi would like a script known as "h_hourly_maint.php" to go off every 30 mins, now i know il need a cron job for thiswhat i want it to do is grab all the users from my DB where mining is set to 2, then i want it to look in the "mining_rate" table of these users.each users mining rate will be differant, so what i want it to do is:-get all users where mining=2-sort through the users and add "mining_rate" to total minedall the users rates will be differant, i just aint sure how to write a script to do this, can anyone help?

Well, my old host has done a runner i think, whenever i go to my site (http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/) im getting a suspension message, although i did nothing wrong.Ive tried other users of the hosts sites, and theres have been suspended aswell.Im getting very fustrated because i had 3 games and a site on that server, i only have one of the games backed up because my dadis funny about me downloading anything onto his computer.I have tried the forum and am getting error code 500, i have no idea what this means, can anyone explain?if you need the link its forums.doggunn.comdoes anyone here know Doggunn? my old host's site was rather crappy, getting 404's all the time, loads of adverts, bad CSS and i can go on.The reason i liked it was because of the hosting and the hosting package, this was on a differant server and the Control Panel represented something like Cpanel X (it was something else, he probably made it) -The hosting server never went down-I had 1GB of space-I had Unlimited Bandwidth -I had unlimited SQL DBs-It had the basic server-side scripting languages (PHP, ASP ect) i reckon most of the efforts were put into the actual service rather than the website itself

i hate them all, now im not the type of guy that just says that without backing it up so:The reason I hate them is I signed up because many friends told me to, the moment I signed up I had many random people asking to be my friend and giving me websites to go to (realy annoying)then i went on the myspace forum, everything i posted was either "irrelevent" or "stickied" so i couldnt talk about itapparantly the new Nintendo DS is not allowed in the gaming section because its irrelevent :SThe chatrooms are awful aswell, people constantly swearing and bickering, it just becomes a mess of spams and flames, not my idea of fun.so yeah, that put me off these sites for a long time, then afew months ago a friend told me facebook is far better ect ect.when i signed up i had people who i absolutly hated writing about me, random people asking to be my friend again, i just shut my account after the first day XDId much rather just use sites dedicated to what i want to talk about rather than using those huge sites, the dedicated sites are lots more friendly and welcoming

Hi guys, ive been working on a hosting script for clans, and i would just like to ask how to do 2 thingsbecause i havent found anything in PHP which will do it.The things i want are:1. Subdomains, i need the user to be able to choose a subdomain, then the script assigns it and makes it workas of this point i have found nothing to do this (it doesnt have to be PHP)2. Deleting full directrysIn effect removing the account, i cant find something to do this, i can find the one that allows me to delete emtey directrysbut cant find anything that allows me to just wipe a full one when a user deletes his/her account
