  1. I spent WAY too much time on the internet. Today I think I've spent about 6 hours on the internet. However, I AM on school break at the moment so naturally when I'm at school I'm busier and have less time to spend online. As for using my time effectively... most of my time is spent posting on various forums, fansites and (brace yourselves) Myspace. As boring and altogether nearly useless as Myspace is, I seem unable to let go of my account there!

  2. In my time I have used both phpBB and Invision PowerBoard. Personally, although they came close I preferred phpBB. Firstly, it's free. I also found that was slightly easier to install (and easier to control further on, once it had been opened) and in my opinion it was simpler to change and customize the design and layout of my forums quickly and easily. As for the hosting, I would much prefer to host my forum on my own website than on a free forum provider such as InvisionFree. This is mainly because I like to be able to control the design of the forums completely and if a problem was to arise, I would not want to have to wait on someone else to fix it for me.

  3. I generally use Google, mainly because it's displayed on my Firefox start page. However, it also (genenerally) displays the most appropriate search results in my opinion. Another great aspect of the Google website (I shall compare it to Yahoo being one of its top competitors) is that it is simple, uncluttered and straight to the point. The main page of Yahoo is very busy and cluttered in junk and loads images that I don't want to see when I simply want to do a quick search.

  4. In short I think it's a very interesting idea, but they really need to work on the full design of the locket if they want to progress with it. The short battery life is basically a joke. In my opinion, I don't think the design is particularly aesthetically pleasing either.Furthermore, I highly doubt that a digital locket could harbour the same sentimental values as a traditional piece of jewellery in which a permanent photo can be viewed and kept for years on end.

  5. Hey I'm new here, but I assume that's already quite apparent or else I wouldn't be creating a thread in the introductions forum. <_<Anyway, my name is Dayne I'm from Sydney, Australia. I hope to have a good time here!
