I'm very excited about microsoft right now, there exploring many new feilds and making more updates more frequently! I used to like Mac like 4 years ago then when Xp came out i have always used Windows. Now windows vista came out! I upgraded my computer from pentium 3 processor to a vpro processor just for it! (over $700 just for intel processor). Then i upgraded my ram from 256mb to 1.4g! Im looking into getting the more out of my windows vista while i can. I predict that there will be another version of Windows in the next four years again though. Also i recomment people buying the liquid cooling systems for windows vista as it makes it much quiet and also cooler! You can buy it at your local computer dealer (frys & best buy atm). I encourage everyone to try out windows vista ultimate! If you have 1gig ram, you'll definetly love it! It has all the features you need lieka areo! But back to about the key, wow thats just amazing. Microsoft has also done a great job on cracking down on "not genuine" pc's. I know from searching on google that sometimes they might contact you if you have info on your computer or might contact your isp! Better watch out! (not verified)Have a great day,Mike

Did your parents just buy you a new computer that they would be very angry if it was ruined? Or are your parents just computer nuts who don't want an easily removed virus to touch their computer? Well, it's time to freak them out. What I'm doing is giving Internet Explorer, or preferably FireFox, to tell your parents that you're infected with a virus: Copy and paste this into your url browser exactly, lol! java script:alert('Error 2214- Your computer has been infected with a trojan horse virus) ');

Well, I'm using "Explorer Destroyer" on my personal website. I don't have time to study JavaScript a.t.m. So I'd be heppy if some one could make a quick fix so it allows IE 7 to access the site but blocks IE 6 and below. I'm only using Explorer Destroyer so that browser who can't view transparent .PNG's are blocked. I would very much appriciate it, Thx. <!-- EXPLORER DESTROYER --><!-- explorerdestroyer.com --><!-- LEVEL 3: DEAD-SERIOUS --><body onload="java script:hasIE_hideAndShow();"><script type="text/javascript"><!--var hasIE_phone_home = 1;// This function does the actual browser detectionfunction hasIE_hasIE() { var ua = navigator.userAgent.toLowerCase(); return ((ua.indexOf('msie') != -1) && (ua.indexOf('opera') == -1) && (ua.indexOf('webtv') == -1) && (location.href.indexOf('seenIEPage') == -1));}function hasIE_showOnlyLayer(whichLayer){ if (document.getElementById) { var style2 = document.getElementById(whichLayer); } else if (document.all) { var style2 = document.all[whichLayer]; } else if (document.layers) { var style2 = document.layers[whichLayer]; } var body = document.getElementsByTagName('body'); body[0].innerHTML = style2.innerHTML;}function hasIE_showLayer(whichLayer){ if (document.getElementById) { var style2 = document.getElementById(whichLayer).style; style2.display = "block"; } else if (document.all) { var style2 = document.all[whichLayer].style; style2.display = "block"; } else if (document.layers) { var style2 = document.layers[whichLayer].style; style2.display = "block"; }}function hasIE_moveAd(adid) { if (document.getElementById) { var ad = document.getElementById('hasIE_ad'); var adloc = document.getElementById(adid); } else if (document.all) { var ad = document.all['hasIE_ad']; var adloc = document.all[adid]; } else if (document.layers) { var ad = document.layers['hasIE_ad']; var adloc = document.layers[adid]; } adloc.innerHTML = ad.innerHTML;}// Hides and shows sections of the page based on whether or not it's// running in IEfunction hasIE_hideAndShow() { if (hasIE_hasIE()) { hasIE_showOnlyLayer("hasIE_level3"); if (hasIE_phone_home == 1) hasIE_phoneHome('getIE_pingimage3'); } else { if (hasIE_phone_home == 1) hasIE_phoneHome('getIE_pingimage0'); }}function hasIE_phoneHome(image) { if (document.getElementById) { var img = document.getElementById(image); } else if (document.all) { var img = document.all[image]; } else if (document.layers) { var img = document.layers[image]; } img.setAttribute('src','http://getunder50.com/ping.php?host='+location.host);}function hasIE_ContinueWithoutFF() { if (location.href.indexOf('?') != -1) location.href += '&seenIEPage=1'; else location.href += '?seenIEPage=1';}--></script><span style="position:absolute; width: 0px; height:0px; left:-1000px; top: -1000px"><img id="getIE_pingimage0"/></span><!-- LEVEL 3: SPLASH WITH NO CLICK THROUGH --> <div id="hasIE_level3" style="display: none;"><span style="position:absolute; width: 0px; height:0px; left:-1000px; top: -1000px"><img id="getIE_pingimage3"/></span><Br /><Br /><div style="padding: 20px; background-color: #ffffbb; font-family: arial; font-size: 15px; font-weight: normal; color: #111111; line-height: 17px;"><div style="width: 630px; margin: 0 auto 0 auto;"><div style="padding-left: 10px; padding-top: 0px; float: right;"><script type="text/javascript"><!--google_ad_client = "pub-2305369465507529";google_ad_width = 120;google_ad_height = 240;google_ad_format = "120x240_as_rimg";google_cpa_choice = "CAAQle6XhAIaCLrDY2MDWbaNKPG193M";google_ad_channel = "7498851205";//--></script><script type="text/javascript" src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js"></script></div><strong>We see you're using Internet Explorer, which is not compatible with this site. In my opinion i think nod23 would work the best. It has more features then norton, mcafee, avg, pc tools antivirus and many othe rpopular brands. This company works around norton and mcafee to make there program even better. They test out viruses and use them aginst there program before letting them out on updates! They have a very easy to use interface and also is a very "lightweight" program that runs smoothly and dosent take long to start up. I recomment this program to everyone!!mike

I did the javac heater.java thing (I have tried different letter cases) Then I typed java Heater (using different cases again) I keep getting this error: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: main. This is the code, which basically follows the bicycle tutorial, I tried copying and pasting that, but still had the same problem. class Heater {int power = 0;int steam = 0;void changePower(int newValue) {power = newValue;}void changeSteam(int newValue) {steam = newValue;}void printStates() {System.out.println("power:"+power+" steam:"+steam);}}class Heater1 {public static void main(String[] args) {//create two heatersHeater heat1 = new Heater();Heater heat2 = new Heater();//methods for the two heatersheat1.changePower(3);heat1.changeSteam(20);heat1.printStates();heat2.changePower(1);heat2.changeSteam(3);heat2.printStates();}} BTW the tabs are where they should be. Notice from WeaponX: You MUST include the CODE tags whenever you are posting any kind of code, especially if they are chunks of code.

This quick guide shows you how to fix this error.Step 1):Go to your control list by right clicking the toolbar underneat the default controls and clicking "Components" or by Pressing "CTRL + T".Step 2):In the Components Box that pops up scroll down to "Microsoft Internet Controls", click on it once so that it becomes highlighted. Now look at its "Location" it will say either "C:\Windows\System32\ieframe.dll" or "C:\Windows\System32\ieframe.dll\1".Step 3):Now you need to browse for the correct file, so with the "Microsoft Internet Control" still highlighted click "Browse".Step 4):In the Box that pops up you need to change the File Type Option from "Active X Controls" to "All Files".Step 5):Once you've done that you can now search for the file called "shdocvw.dll". When you find it Double Click on it or highlight it and select "Open".Step 6):Now the Location for the "Microsoft Internet Control" should read "C:\Windows\System32\shdocvw.dll".Step 7):Simply click "Apply" and you should now be able to add an Internet Control to your project again. Look at all these videos i found on Youtube based on police brutality. I realize some of these were filmed in countries other than USA and Canada, countries where all this police brutality goes un-noticed but i still decided to post it. I see a major problem here where power driven cops decide that just because they have a night-stick and a taser they think they have the right to abuse everybody else. Personally i wish the cops from the first movie that were beating on the kid and the grandma should be tortured and than killed and they should burn in hell for ever. Please discuss the following: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ - Police in Roma beat on a kid and a grandma http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ - Cops beat on a guy who cant breath cuz of the cops leg on his throat. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ - a compilation of scenes with police Brutality accompanied by a great SOAD song. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ - Amazingly touching video of actual LA police here in America beating people down sometiems even 5 to one. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ - yet another video of police brutality in the USA. Look these over i may post more later. Discuss please.

First what each term means.Atheist – deny the existence of god.Agnostic – is not sure about the existence of god.Fundamentalist – takes literal interpretation of the bible i.e. the earth WAS created in 7 days.Well, what are you how do you describe yourself. What makes you chose this stand. Do you believe that the others are wrong? Do you care that the others are wrong? Are you disturbed when others try to change your point of view?To the Atheist-I personally believe that society needs religion in order to function. It gives hope and a meaning to those still looking for one. Do you think that society, as a whole, would be able to function in the absence of religion? Remember that most of our laws (no mater what country you are from) mirror the 10 commandants. Also if god is real what would you say to him/her after you have died..To the Agnostic-What made you doubt the existence of god? i.e. the loss of a loved one, what type of god allows loved ones to die. Are you afraid that there might not be a god? if not are you afraid that he might punish you for once doubting him.To the Fundamentalist- What do you have to say to those who do not believe in god? Do you believe that they should be condemned to hell/purgatory? Do you believe that every one who thinks different from should be damned no matter what?

Since the Soviet Union's spread of Communism beginning in the 1930's when China became Communist along with many neighbouring European countries followed by Vietnam and Cuba the U.S government have bred fear of Communism into U.S citizens. Today American's are recognized for hating the Communist regime & still object to Communist sympathizers, why? It is quite clear the U.S will never become Communism since the Cold War so why do they still breed hatred among the community?How does communism effect the U.S.A today?Why must they be bred to hate Communism?Does hating Communism achieve anything?Discuss!

I'm sure many of you don't know this, but April 24th is the day on which the Armenian Genocide began. During the genocide, 1.5 million Armenians were tortured and killed by the Ottoman Turks. I myself am Armenian, and i think its important that people really know whats going on, because to this day, the Turkish government denies it. Info from Armenipedia.org: Summary of Events Leading up to the GenocideSomewhat surprisingly to many, Armenians and Turks lived in relative harmony in the Ottoman Empire for centuries. Armenians were known as the "loyal millet". During these times, although Armenians were not equal and had to put up with certain special hardships, taxes and second class citizenship, they were pretty well accepted and there was relatively little violent conflict. Things began to change for a number of reasons. Nationalism, a new force in the world, reared its head and made ethnic groupings self-conscious, and the Ottoman Empire began to crumble. It became known as "the sick man of Europe" and the only thing holding it together was the European powers' lack of agreement on how to split it up.As other Christian minorities gained their independence one by one, the Armenians became more isolated as the only major Christian minority. Armenians and Turks began to have conflicting dreams of the future. Some Armenians began to call for independence like the Greeks and others had already received, while some Turks began to envision a new Pan-Turkic empire spreading all the way to Turkic speaking parts of Central Asia. Armenians were the only ethnic group in between these two major pockets of Turkish speakers and the nationalist Turks wanted to get rid of them altogether.As European powers began to ask for assurances that Armenians receive better treatment, the government began to treat the Armenians worse and worse. From 1894-6 hundreds of thousands of Armenians died in the Hamidian Massacres ordered by Sultan Abdul Hamid II.A coup by 'progressive' Young Turks in 1908 replacing the Sultans government was supported by Armenians. Unfortunately, promised reforms never came, and in fact a triumvirate of extreme Turkish nationalists took complete dictatorial control, Enver, Jemal and Talat. It was they who masterminded the plan to completely eradicate the Armenian race in a step towards fulfilling their pan-Turkic dreams.The GenocideWorld War One gave the Young Turk government the cover and the excuse to carry out their plan. The plan was simple and its goal was clear. On April 24th 1915, commemorated worldwide by Armenians as Genocide Memorial Day, hundreds of Armenian leaders were murdered in Istanbul after being summoned and gathered. The now leaderless Armenian people were to follow. Across the Ottoman Empire (with the exception of Constantinople, presumably due to a large foreign presence), the same events transpired from village to village, from province to province.The remarkable thing about the following events is the virtually complete cooperation of the Armenians. For a number of reasons they did not know what was planned for them and went along with "their" government's plan to "relocate them for their own good." First, the Armenians were asked to turn in hunting weapons for the war effort. Communities were often given quotas and would have to buy additional weapons from Turks to meet their quota. Later, the government would claim these weapons were proof that Armenians were about to rebel. The able bodied men were then "drafted" to help in the wartime effort. These men were either immediately killed or were worked to death. Now the villages and towns, with only women, children, and elderly left were systematically emptied. The remaining residents would be told to gather for a temporary relocation and to only bring what they could carry. The Armenians again obediently followed instructions and were "escorted" by Turkish Gendarmes in death marches.The death marches led across Anatolia, and the purpose was clear. The Armenians were raped, starved, dehydrated, murdered, and kidnapped along the way. The Turkish Gendarmes either led these atrocities or turned a blind eye. Their eventual destination for resettlement was just as telling in revealing the Turkish governments goal: the Syrian Desert, Der Zor. Those who miraculously survived the march would arrive to this bleak desert only to be killed upon arrival or to somehow survive until a way to escape the empire was found. Usually those that survived and escaped received assistance from those who have come to be known as "good Turks," from foreign missionaries who recorded much of these events and from Arabs.After The GenocideAfter the war ended, the Turkish government held criminal trials and found the triumvirate guilty in abstentia. All three were later executed by Armenians. Turkey agreed to let the US draw the border between the newly born Republic of Armenia and the Turkish government. What is now called Wilsonian Armenia included most of the six western Ottoman provinces as well as a large coastline on the Black Sea. Cilicia, a separate Armenian region on the Mediterranean, was to be a French mandate. Mustafa Kemal's forces pushed the newly returned Armenian refugees and forces from these lands and forced a new treaty to be written which was an insult to Armenian victims. They were basically told never to return and that they would never receive compensation. The Kars and Ardahan provinces of Armenia were taken as well in an agreement with the Soviet Union.Contemporary EventsOn the 50th anniversary of the genocide, the scattered survivors of the genocide and their children around the world began commemorating the genocide on April 24th, the day which marked the start of the full-scale massacres in 1915. Many Armenian Genocide Monuments have been built around the world since, as well as smaller plaques and dedications.The Turkish government has in the past few decades been denying that a genocide ever occurred and spending millions of dollars to further that view. This is adding insult to injury and will cause bad feelings to continue much longer than would otherwise be the case between the peoples. Those who say forget about it, it is in the past, are wrong. Unless crimes like this are faced up to and compensated for, they will be committed again and again by people who do not fear prosecution or justice. Read what Hitler said before beginning the Jewish Holocaust here.A class action suit against New York Life insurance company by genocide survivors was filed in 1999. They were sued for not being forthcoming in paying up for policies of those killed in the genocide. The suit was settled in 2004 for $20 million, and payouts began to individuals and some Armenian charitable organizations. Source link: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Also, System of a Down is Armenian - They fight for recognition of the Armenian Genocide, and their "Souls" concert is dedicated to the Genocide, and all money made from that concert is donated to Genocide victims' families. Souls was cancelled this year, it was supposed to be yesterday (April 23) Please do not turn this into a discussion about System of a Down, however.

Many of the classrooms at the University where I work open to the outside, and either don't have locks or have to be key-locked.These are fire-doors though. Steel plates inside them. If proper locks are installed so that faculty/students can lock them from the inside, lives could be saved.I watched a program early this morning that said with a stun gun you have to let the assailant get close, and if they are stronger, they can over power you. The same was true of pepper sprays. This program was selling a crazy kind of flashlight with a propelled pepper spray and a laser targetting device. The light was blinding, the laser allowed the victim to target the eyes of the attacker, and the pepper spray shot out 20 feet. I liked that.At VT, the attacker chained doors closed. Can't do that where I work. None of the doors are built in that fashion, and even if they were, there are always alternate exits.My Friend told me that if he was ever attacked at his high school he just prays the desk is stronger than the gun because "there aren't any windows in any of the classes to jump out of."One security expert on TV pointed out that no one seemed to try to assault Cho. No one threw books or computers or anything to trip Cho up. They were willing to stand in his path and be shot at to protect others, but were taught not to tackle and attack.So, what would you do to protect yourself where YOU work or attend school?

Illegal immigration, how do you feel about it i google some info that says in about 5 years the population will be 450m americals over 1/2 illegal imigrants i think if the us had a ****ed up economy they WILL run across to canada and theyd kno how it felt PS:im not illegal its just a survival technique if ur dien in Us will u stay there? and just get poorer and poorer and just not afford food? honestly ? what would you do? if you were an illegal imigrant? My answer: You people are (edited out language) ignorant they buy what you sell at the stores don't they?There charged taxes for it aren't they?They steal your jobs because they are willing to work and not be lazy. Its that simple.Even if the SS is forged the employer has to pay taxes for it. Hence they get a paycheck which they cash somewhere and are charged taxes for.Also if you are crying so much about them not paying taxes which is soo untrue then make then legal and they'll gladly start paying.

This is to quickly flush the DNS catche on your computer via command prompt (cmd-easy search for vista users). When you open up cmd make sure you are running it as an administratior and type the following in exactly as is!:ipconfig /flushdnsYou will see right below that (after you pres enter after that code) it will say something like it's completed. Now re-start your internet browser and delete all internet files cookies etc. etc. and then re-start again. You have now flushed your dns cache!Thanks,Mike

As many of us US citizens are well aware, we are deeply into debt! We have over 3 trillion $ owned to our own government. If we dont do something about this in the next 40-50 years i think that the US will fall into another great depression. It has already devistated us enough to get out of one. Will elections comming up next year, will we get a new president that will have concerns toward this issue? Or will we have one that is ignorant and dosent think about the future.Discuss.Thanks,Mike

I recently got a pirated copy of windows vista to only test and see if it works. Well of course it wasnt genuine! Well i did some work and research on google and a few other sites. I concluded that i could try to talk with microsoft support to see if they could make it genuine. Well i did and they went through a long and study process asking me questions and so on. After about 30 minutes or so my microsoft windows was genuine with a valid product key! I'm sure you can find many more testimonials like this and others at on google. This is another example that you can find anything on google!Thanks,Mike

I recently found this very interesting article at CNN online! CAPE CANAVERAL, Florida (AP) -- With a 4-inch gap in the space shuttle Atlantis' heat-protecting blanket not appearing to be a problem on Saturday, the crew prepared for its rendezvous with the international space station.The shuttle will enter a weeklong embrace Sunday with the orbital outpost.Atlantis' seven astronauts spent much of Saturday on a mandatory inspection of the shuttle's delicate heat tiles, outer edges and blankets for problems similar to the kind that caused the fatal Columbia accident in 2003. As of Saturday afternoon, no glaring problems were reported.But late Friday and early Saturday, the crew spent extra time using a robot arm to look at a gap in a thermal blanket on the left side of the shuttle. The gap, about 4 inches, is the result of an unusual fold in the blanket, not a debris hit -- which caused Columbia's fatal problem, NASA spokeswoman Lynette Madison said. (Watch thermal blanket concerns explained )The area does not get hotter than 700 degrees Fahrenheit during the shuttle's return to Earth and is not a place where NASA is usually concerned about potentially fatal problems, she said. Still, engineers were using photos to create a three-dimensional model of the gap just in case."They don't think it's much of a concern," Madison said.As part of the normal day-after-launch tile inspections, astronaut Patrick Forrester used the shuttle's robot arm and a boom extension to examine its wings and outer edges.Atlantis' crew was given an extra half-hour to sleep Saturday morning, then awoke to the song "Big Boy Toys" by Aaron Tippin.Atlantis' seven-man crew was closing the gap between it and the space station by about 800 miles every 90-minute orbit. By 2 p.m. EDT, the shuttle was about 4,000 miles away from its destination. Atlantis is scheduled to dock with the space station at 3:38 p.m. EDT Sunday.Before the docking comes maneuvering that NASA officials often call a delicate ballet, a procedure that has appeared effortless in 20 previous tries, even though it is risky."Two vehicles weighing 230,000 pounds going 17,500 mph, it's tough stuff," Mission Management Team leader John Shannon said.Atlantis commander Rick Sturckow will move the shuttle until it is 600 feet below the station and then make the shuttle turn a backflip in just nine minutes. The last few feet of the docking occur so slowly that Atlantis will get only an inch closer to the station every second.Once the shuttle and station connect, they will stay locked until June 17.During the 11-day flight, the astronauts will deliver a new segment and a pair of solar panels to the orbiting outpost. They plan three spacewalks -- on Monday, Wednesday and Friday -- to install the new equipment and retract an old solar panel.On Sunday, astronaut Clayton Anderson will replace astronaut Sunita Williams as the U.S. representative aboard the space station, and Williams will return to Earth aboard Atlantis. She has spent the past six months in orbit.About an hour after launch Saturday, NASA managers said initial checks found nothing to worry about. One piece of foam that appeared to come off the shuttle's fuel tank -- which bore white patches from repaired hail damage that had delayed the flight by three months -- about 135 seconds after launch did not seem to hit the shuttle, said shuttle program manager Wayne Hale."The tank performed in a magnificent way, despite having several thousand repairs to it," Hale said at a news conference. "(The debris) should not be a hazard that late in the flight."The first shuttle launch of the year helped put NASA back on track after a run of bad luck and scandal on the ground during the first half of the year.In the past few months, NASA has seen the arrest of astronaut Lisa Nowak in an alleged plot to kidnap her rival for a shuttle pilot's affections; a murder-suicide at the Johnson Space Center in Houston; and the derailment of a train carrying rocket-booster segments for future shuttle launches.More recently, NASA Administrator Michael Griffin has come under fire for suggesting that global warming may not be a problem worth wrestling with. And the agency's inspector general was lambasted at a congressional hearing Thursday by former staff members, representatives and senators for the way he managed his office, treated his employees and investigated complaints. Very interesting, i hope there flight is very sucessfull and promissing to find out more about science and space!
