  1. These are the minimum system requirements to run Black and White 2:

    * OS: Windows XP/2000

    * Processor: 1.6 GHz Pentium 4 or above

    * Memory: 512 MB RAM

    * Hard Drive: 3.5 GB

    * DVD: 8 Speed

    * Video Card: 64 MB with 1.1 Pixel Shader

    * DirectX: Version 9.0c (included)

    * Sound Card: Directx 9.0c compatible

    As you can see, the game isn't very exigent.

    In order to help you, we need at least some info about your motherboard or graphics card.

  2. Actually I have 2 Logitech pads, one of them is a rumble pad, but the sensivity of the analog sticks is not the best and sometimes I feel frustrated when I play Pro evolution soccer or some race car games.I've configured it with the bundled software, but it's the same.What about Microsoft controllers?

  3. I like Seagate HD drives because, I've tried some manufacturers, like Western digital, Maxtor and Samsung and the Seagate's disk are the most reliable, very quiet and the performance is very good.I have nigthmares when I remember a Western digital disk that fail 4 years ago with all my music and personal data only 8 months after I purchased it.

    I'm trying to test Joomla and some forums in my computer, I have already installed MySQL with the GUI tools, Apache, and PHP with the MySQL and MySQLi

    extensions, but when I'm trying to install Joomla I get this error:

    Required Settings Check:

    -------------------------------------

    PHP version >= 4.1.0 Yes

    - zlib compression support Available

    - XML support Available

    - MySQL support Unavailable

    configuration.php Writeable

    Session save path Unwriteable

    Not set

    What is happening?

  5. I'm going to by Wi-Fi AP.There are many standarts of Wi-Fi. I'm thinking of speeds 54 (802.11g) and 108 mb/s (802.11g).
    Is it real 108 mb/s (13.5 MB/s) or not? What will work better in a flat? And if I buy AP with 108 mb/s speed can I will be set speed slow to make connection better? Or nothing will change? And what you can say about D-Link 2100 AP ?

    The speed in wireless LANs is about 40-60% the manufacturers says.

    The 108 Mbps speed is under ideal circunstances, not the real life

  6. When setting up static ip's to play we lose the net entirely on both pc's as they are both connected to the same modem (with the in-built router).
    We basically have to re-setup both pc's to auto get it all instead of manual specification when we want the net back. Not a daunting or long task but anyway lol.

    You have to specify the gateway in each machine, using the router's IP.
