However to take full advantage of performance gains that can be achieved... I would follow this procedure.1) Run Disk Cleanup2) Run a Full Scandisk and automatically repair any problems found3) Run a Full Defrag even if the computer say the drive doesn't need4) Then configure a fixed swapfile.The above procedure will assure that there will be no fragmentation in your swap file, which will turn increase the speed of access to information contained within.
