  1. Most Linux Distro contain the partitioning software. Just one tIp defrag you windows before partitiong keeps you from losing some files. Then boot into the linux disc partitiona nd format the linux partiton into ext3. Most installers are user friendly and give you step by step instrcutions. The thing i love about Lnux is that it tells you what its doing a lot of the time unlike windows hangs there telling you nothing. The Linux distro will install a boot loader and it will ask you when you boot which OS to boot.Good Luck zerofool2005
  2. hmm true. Unless you wrote into the application aswell once it was registered the info and have it encrypted so it couldnt be used on another machience
  3. This has been a great read. I always loved to find out how things work and what is done to do that. this just fuels me even more to find things out. just a pity out schools dont teach advanced sutff like this. At least mine doesnt
  4. What about logging the software into a Sql database. Once that software gets registerd it is logged on OS Processor type and IP address.
  5. I probibly sound like a complete idiot now but iv been looking around and cant see anywhere that lists how many points i have. Does anybody know where?EDIT: Ahh found it now Vyoma told me in the shoutbox where it was.
  6. Just shows how use 14 Y/O arnt as stupid as we look :PEverything has flaws. A application can go through reigerous testing and still have flaws when it is released. Sometimes it is a mixture of the osftware and the user. There is no way to make 100% certain that there are no flaws
  7. The Airsnort osunds the best one out of the rest. A dictionary attack takes a long time and doesnt allways give good results. I have heard of many people who recomend AirSnort. Not really much of a tutorial if you dont mine me saying
  8. I picked up a wireless router from peak http://ww1.peakhardware.com//?gtnjs=1 for £20. If you just want it on your network its fine. but if you want to use it to have global access e.g hosting a server on your network. It assigns all global users withe the IP 192.168.1.254 unless i configed it wrong somewhere.
  9. You could set up a shared folder on one of the computers and let other users dip striaght into it. Or you could install ShoutCast onto one of the boxes and stream it over your network and just listen onto it when you wnat to listen. ShoutCast even has remote playlist editing.
